I was a bit surprised how the device was always vertical and was driven, but in 5 min with the help of the guide, we made a small training session and were able to move forward, back, rotate and stop. Kids were already doing slaloms around the trees ... Our guide gave us some headphones so we could listen his explanations about the nature in the marisma , pine trees, wild rabits, etc . Views are fantastic, the smell of pine trre delicious, we stopped several times to take pics, i recomend!

Booked this through the hotel reception. We were picked up exactly on time with a very friendly driver who took us to the starting point. Very friendly staff who give excellent instructions. They have narrative headphones in all languages, however due to concentrating on riding we missed most of the narrative. But that was no problem as our guide (sorry forgot her name) give all the info we needed. Segways are fantastic and the route is so picturess you must do this trip if you are staying in El Rompido.

Few days before our visit, me and my son experienced great service of Natureway in Seville. As our trip followed to Huelva, we decided to visit Segways in El Rompido.
When arrived by taxi, we realized that previous group includes older woman who drives slow and had to wait 10-20 minutes. The lady who was in charge - Teresa, was very kind to offer us electric bikes to try as a compliment for that delay. Thank you Teresa, it was very interesting as we never tried such a bike.
The tour itself was fabulous - beautiful scenery (we were at sunset), specific smell from the sea, preserved territory, very interesting trail, different birds and joy of riding Segway "off road".
If you want to do something different during your stay at sea coast, this is a good decision.
P.S. As we had to come from Huelva to El Rompido, consider taxi expenses which are ±20 EUR from Huelva and ±30 EUR to your way back (Sept 2016).

We drove from Alburfeira, Portugal to take this trip but found the address so vague that we gave up looking for it after driving 1.5 hours to get there and spending an hour driving around the town. Copy and paste the address from the website and the GPS still couldn't get us there.

Also beware the time difference if driving from Portugal, 1 hour, but that maybe DST. Rated the activity with 1 star. Of course as we didn't get to do it we don't know what it would have been rated.

We were picked up by a friendly gentleman, Juan, in a minibus with the natureway logo, of no extra charge!
We had never used a Segway before and so the guides taught us how to operate them, very patient and kind!
Our guide, Carolina, was absolutely lovely, very friendly and attentive with a great sense of humour and brilliant English...
The tour itself was interesting and using the segways was so fun, I didn't want it to end.
We had a head set to listen to a recorded narrative tour in English, which Carolina would point bits out along the way and show us differ t parts, we also stopped a few times to take pictures of the beautiful scenery - fantastic, a must do if going to El Rompido, and incredible value for money!

My FIRST ride on a Segway & it could NOT have been better. After a short lesson we were off of a great tour. The breeze from riding was perfect for the hot day. Beautiful flowers and great way to explore the huge gardens outside of Plaza Espana. Thank you Ana for a memorable ride!

Three of of decided to try this out, with little or no prior experience. It worked out perfect, a guide, helmets and headphones to hear him relate the history, geography, nature.
The scenery was nice, right by the sea, marshlands and just next to a golf course. Lots of birds even rabbits to see.
He took our picture and made sure we were always in safety. It's easy, just drive in the center as you don't want to hit the sides on the wooden boardwalks that cross the marsh.
The machines were top notch, even had carry bags if one needed to take water or a jacket.

We visited Natureway on the recommendation of a neighbour and were pleasantly surprised. It was just starting to rain but we persevered and were not disappointed. Our guide was very informative and despite the slight language barrier gave clear instructions on using the Segways (which were brilliant). Our children are 9 and 12 and both loved the Segway, finding them easy to use. The trail was beautiful and ideally suited to the Segway. We all found it interesting and there were lots of photo opportunities along the way. Next time we visit we will try some of the other activities Natureway have on offer.
