Yuki was an absolute delight. She is incredibly knowledgeable, patient and friendly. When I told her that I was vegetarian, she went the extra mile for me, to give me extra recipes and information that would be particularly suitable for me. I’ve been to other Japanese cooking classes in London for other topics, but none have come near to the quality that Yuki provides. I attended my first class with Yuki several years ago and have impressed countless friends with my skills since! I will absolutely be attending more classes in the future. Yuki, you are a star!

Yuki has a genuine passion for Japanese food and a fun sense of humour which makes her easy to listen to/learn from. She even made boiling eggs interesting with some clever tips for keeping the yolk central. An added and unexpected bonus was an introduction to mould.

Fantastic experience making the Gyoza dumplings! Yuki is very friendly and provides simple and easy instructions. Myself and my sister both participated virtually (calling in from from different countries), and had a great time cooking this meal. I would highly recommend for all ages as Yuki makes it easy to follow and participate. The food was delicious and we enjoyed a lot of left overs all weekend! Thank you Yuki!

I've done 3 online classes with Yuki now and they've all been really fun with delicious outcomes. I'd so love to do an in-person class but live on the other side of the planet! Yuki has a way of getting everyone energised, working swiftly and yet managing to get something delicious to taste by the end of the session. Usually you finish off the rest of the dish once the class is over. It is good if you can have a partner cooking with you, or get some of the basics done before the class. The shopping list and guidelines Yuki provides when you book are great, and she happily makes suggestions for dietary needs and variations. Yuki has been really lovely in responding to requests and helpful about accessibility with a 12 hour time difference. Definitely recommend giving this class a go!

My girlfriend bought a class and she said it was basic things she could do from any recipe for Japan. Sushi is bad as it has problems for the stomach and digestive system for too much raw foods I was told by local chef of Asian restaurant! Also the things she has said are not even foods of Japan but likely made up for British. She must use a lot of fake reviewers and when an 'influencer' doesn't write a review she wants, she blames them. She tried to scam my girlfriend and I with a 'private class' for £450. She also blames people as 'influencers' if a real review is made, I am not an influencer so don't try that one here.

This class was amazing, I learnt so much even though I’ve made sushi loads of times before. My sushi will be 100x better after learning from Yuki, she is a wonderful teacher and clearly a very high quality chef. I’ll definitely be going back for her other classes!

Yuki's lets roll sushi class is a great way to spend a saturday. We were recommended to go by some friends. Attended as a family. Yuki is really fun and her class is informative. You get to make lots of different types of sushi and eat it there and or take some home. Really recommend this class if you like learning how to cook new things. Thank you Yuki for all the detailed information and tips on ingredients.

I wouldn’t call this a cooking class, it’s more of an ‘observe and eat’ session. You don’t have your own cooking station. I received a lot of vouchers as a birthday gift and attended 2 classes so over 6 hours. In that time I cut an onion and dipped some chicken in egg and breadcrumbs. That was the extent of the practical side. I discussed a refund when I realised the first class was like this but this was refused. In the end I was left with over £100 in unused credit which is a shame as it was a gift.

Absolutely Fabulous Day with Yuki in the kitchen learning the art of making Sushi. Took my 12 year old daughter and we had a wonderful blast and really enjoyed everything about the session. Thanks so much Yuki for the fun times and making Sushi seem easy. Now my daughter wants to travel to Japan so that might be our next adventure. Highly recommend this class for everyone!
