We always enjoy a stroll around this area, there are lots of shops and cafes, and outdoor stalls. As the name suggests, it is an outdoor flower market and I love to see the exotic blooms on display.

This plaza is easy to find; follow the purple line on the pavement from the cathedral towards to market area and you will come across it.

Lively, central, and lots to eat. The central market is right next door, offering lots of local produce and seafood. Wonder through the crowded and lively narrow streets, have a bite to eat at one of the local freidurias which offer local and fresh fried seafood.

Very central to the city and a very easy point of reference - 'go to Plaza de Las Flores, and turn right' etc.

As the name suggests, it is a flower market and during the day the colours and smells are quite amazing.

Beware the few beggars knocking around, but as in any town or city if you have your wits about you there won't be any problems.

Lots of bars and restaurants close to the Plaza de Las Flores, but most are quite touristy pizza places. A little further up towards Plaza San Francisco (landmark, not a place to eat or drink outside), to the left, there are many more authentic Spanish bars and restaurants

This is a pretty little square in the centre of the old town of Cadiz, not far from the cathedral and the central market. There are a couple of flower stalls here and a few benches to rest. There are cafes and bars nearby if you need some refreshments

Its a pretty cobbled Plaza with lovely flower stalls and the decorative Post Office stands at one end of this square. Great place to stop for a coffee and watch the scene. Just at the end of shopping street Calle Columela and a short walk to the Cathedral or the beach.

This busy area is great to rest whilst taking in the sights of the city. Visit the market it's lovely, and then call in for a coffee or beer in one of the many bars that surround the Plaza, then carry on for some shopping in the wonderful little shops.

This is a small square which is locally called Plaza de las Flores although it is not its true name. To be honest it is quite small and does not have many florists but it is surrounded by bars and restaurants which give it it's air of quaintness. The flowers are also very reasonably priced if you wanted to buy flowers or plants as a gift.

Sweet and very Cadiz. NOt much to see really but the heart of a wonderful city. Just lovely. It adds to the overall feeling and colour of this wonderful city and is the part just before the excellent main market.

Tumbled across this small and intimate plaza with a couple of shops selling flowers, plants and succulents. It’s surrounded by nice tapas bars and didn’t feel overrun by tourists. Lovely experience.
