Tapa bars and d drinks. Not crowded this time of the year. Save yourself time and go after 7Pm. Most are closed before that. Or go on a Saturday night if you enjoy the crowd.
Make sure to try the Mushroom tapa.

This is Calle Laurel’s lesser known friend, the street you’ll meet the locals, the street you’ll meet fewer tourists, fewer stag, hen parties. It’s a relaxed cousin with its own identity.

Where Laurel is brash, in your face and loud, this is somewhat more relaxed, do it at your own pace; want a beer and 2 or 3 pinchos over an hour, yeah, rock on. Want to race at 100kph necking beer and wine and a bite to eat in EVERY bar, go’ed my son. This is more the thinking persons street what do you want to eat, rather than in Laurel... I’ll have the special. Don’t get me wrong they are fiercely proud here of their own specials but, you know, go with the flow... enjoy. Plus find a small rock bar with fiery peanuts. They are warm!

One of the three long streets in the old town with the best tapas bars...Also some storefronts with incredible fresh fruits and vegetables.

On my first visit to Logrono, Calle Laurel was closed for post vendimia rest so our eating experience was all Called San Juan. There we met Jose of the bar Samaray and his friends and shamelessly spent all our evenings there. His wife is the main chef and all their tapas are topped with quail eggs. Delicious and filling. We drop in to see Jose each time we are in Logrono. On this our third visit, we rediscovered the charms of Calle San Juan with 2 more bars added to our must visit list, Tastevin and Torres Gastrobar. When I speak to people who have been to Logrono they all mention Called Laurel and in the tourist shops the memorabilia is mostly about Laurel however I am now telling everyone, take a hike! Go that little bit further into the old town and you will discover Called San Juan. You will not regret it.

Very similar to the Laurel Street, you don't need to choose between one or the other locations, you can easily visit both, and believe me you should do it!

This is another very good street for taking in the special atmosphere and superb food of Logrono.
Perhaps not as famous as Laurel but, to be honest, just as good.

This is the place to be for pintxos and wine in Logrono, in my opinion. Not quite as crowded as Calle Laurel, greater variety of options-- something for every taste-- and top quality food and drink. Vendors are friendly, customers are happy, the street is alive. In many ways, this is Spain at its best.

This isn't a large area, and you don't go here to be "seen." It was recommended to me by a resident as the least likely to aim to specifically cater to tourists, and I believe it. Caracoles (small snails) and anchovies with different combinations that we are not used to seeing (actually, we aren't much used to seeing anchovies sold at all!) are for sale on the street, as well as standby bacalao and iberico and ternera.

This review is making me hungry! I'm going to make a pintxo for myself now.

We had the best tapas and came back twice. Very friendly staff. Please try Foie Micuit and Boletus Estofados.

We loved this street, very local feel. We loved being able to bar hop and taste many high end tapas with great wine choices!

Lots of choices here, see other reviews for specific choices. The txangurro was excellent!

Street gets very crowded, suggest getting out there earlier, which is Spain is 8-8:30. Get your siesta in the afternoon and go out and enjoy.
