I felt genuinely welcomed to visit and admire this old church (for free). In the evening it was beautifully lit inside and there was some spiritual music on. It enhanced the experience and let me appreciate its unique character. Some other churches don't go to so much effort even though they have a little lot more to present.

Just fantastic historic church, also free to enter as are all the attractions in Logrono. Charming inside, old tomb to visit to the right of the door as you enter. Dont miss this ancient church.

This is a fairly small church, and it's not particularly impressive in any way besides the fact that, when you're in it, you'll realize you're standing in a building that was constructed in the 12th century, that countless thousands of pilgrims have passed through in the intervening centuries. I mean, that's pretty cool, so for that alone I'd say it's worth a visit.

This is a cool church, an open door to the Camino de Santiago. I feel like a piligrim, even if I just visit and look a the carvings of this church.

Unfortunately the church was closed when we visited, but it is very attractive set in a pretty little square. Impressive carvings around the entrance door.

Why do iglesias have to be so dark and smell of overpowering incense. This is the oldest Iglesia in Logroño but nothing spectacular.

Beautiful! Lots of cafes in the main city square where you can sit in front. You can hear the bells every 15 mins!

This is really a beautiful church. The entrance is already wonderful and the inside is really inspiring. We were on our Camino de Santiago and stayed for an evening in Logroño. Coincidentally we went into the Church while there was a mass in French (mainly Canadians and French attending), although we are not fluent in French, we enjoyed the moment.

Wonderful artwork and charming old church well worth visiting. Check for opening hours and masses ahead of time as it does close at times during the day.

Compared to some other churches in town, this one seems so much smaller and simpler, but I must say that I thought the stonework surrounding the main door is rather special.
I don't know if I was just unlucky re times, but on both occasions I tried to gain access, the door was locked. Such a shame, as I really would have liked to view the interior.
Perhaps next time.

You might want to check for info of masses on the door of the church and go before them to make sure. I was there in winter and they have different hours in summer. From what I recall they had a mass at noon and 8 pm weekdays and 1130/1230/8:30 pm on holidays/Sundays
