About
Our Company has been specialized for years in tours around the Region Campania, especially in Capri Island and Pompeii, but not only. We are official guides and we can organize customized walking tours and shore excursions. Our standard day tour of Capri is organized as follows: start from Marina Grande where we catch the minibus to the Blue Grotto, then to the village of Anacapri, here is Villa S. Michele of Axel Munthe, the Church of St. Michele with its beautiful tiled floor, the chair lift to the top of Monte Solaro. After some free time, we continue to Capri’s famous Piazzetta, the Gardens of Augustus and Via Krupp.

Amazing tour. Capri is a beautiful island, and the Blue Grotto is breathtaking. Highly recommend taking the chairlift to the peak of Monte Solaro. Alberto is a fantastic tour guide (and tenor)!

We took a Hydrofoil from Port Beverello to Capri--as one of the many cheaper but slow options available. It was the SNAV at 10:15 AM and the cost was €19,50 per person. You buy the tickets at the port area only

Once you arrive in Capri, there are more choices to make about what you want to do and see. We did not go to Anacapri but only took the funicular (tram uphill) up to the top--Capri City about a Euro & some cents for a person.
Views are superb & spectacular from the top (charges 1 Euro pp).
If you're brand conscious & prone to shop at the likes of Armani, the place is for you.
The stores are all expensive.

The view in the city, which we covered walking, is just too amazing, very beautifully landscaped and maintained.
I really regret my decision of not booking a nights stay there.

We took a private fast boat ride around the entire island of Capri which takes about two hours covering many attractions enroute, it cost us €120/-.
The boat goes in and out of many grottos including Blue Grotto, which again is chargeable at €13 pp. & too overrated.
Again a tip is asked for by the row boatman who took us inside Blue Grotto.

In all a fabulous day stay!!

Be prepared to be pay for everything, once you are on vaccations in Italy.
To start with various varieties of water asked in every eatery-sparking, mineral, etc. and you will pay for it--of course.
If you are given something to munch on with your drinks, you will pay for it even though you did not ask for it.
At some places cutlery & even fabric napkins were chargeable.
Paying for using the toilets is too common too...

After checking out every tour we could, we decided to go with the local public ferry (Miaori, Minori, Amalfi, Capri and return) at a cost of 35euro return. What a great investment! We had perfect weather and the seas were immaculately behaved. The ferry stopped at tourist places so we could take photos e.g. positano, faraglioni. We then got to Capri after 2 hours (at 10.20am). We then walked to the centro (arghhh, lots of steps, 15 minutes) ... better to take the small train or taxi. We then saw the gardens of augusta, had lunch at the piazza umberto, had perfume sprayed on us, took a taxi to anacapri (more local not 'name' retailers as in Capri), took the chairlift to mount solaro (partially foggy unfortunately for us), a quick visit to villa san michelle and then a 25euro taxi ride (convertible!) back down to the grand marina in time for a gelato and out ferry trip back (4.30 depart, back at 6.05). A perfect day. We left the grottos for another lifetime. Harry and co. So much depends on the weather, the seas and the crowds.

Fantastic organisation for a long day. Collected at 6:45am. Taken to green line bus. Stopped 1/2 way to Naples for bathroom, coffee stop. Continued another 1 1/2 hr to Naples. Immediate ferry to Isle of Capri. The sea is as blue as can be. Easy crossing. We took optional boat trip €18 around island in 1hour. Fantastic, saw white, another blue, and turquoise grottos. Just magnificent. Saw mansions from water. Amazing rock formations. Saw dozens of boats waiting to do blue grotto cave. We had no desire to have to lie down in row boat to fit in cave! Our boat trip was fantastic! Onto restaurant for 3 course included meal was excellent. We then had a look around shops before taking another option of chair lift €11 return. Just fantastic- views breathtaking! Overall a absolutely highlight of our trip. Great day.

During our time in Italy, we used Rome as our home-base so we found a day tour option through Viator to see the wonderful island of Capri. The tour was conducted by City Wonders. It was a long day of course - 14 hours plus, but totally worth it. All of the details were handled once we met our guide in the Piazza del Popolo. We took an air conditioned coach from Rome to Naples and upon arriving in Naples, we boarded an air conditioned high speed boat to the beautiful island of Capri. The tour gives you an option to visit the Blue Grotto or to spend that time shopping instead. We chose to visit the Blue Grotto (an additional 30 Euro per person paid during the tour) and we were very happy we did! We heard rumors of the wait time being as much as 2 - 2.5 hours but we were very lucky. Our wait was only about 15-20 minutes and totally worth it.The Blue Grotto was awesome. Getting in a small wooden boat and squeezing under the very narrow entrance to the grotto was such a cool experience. The blue grotto/sea cave was so cool. The brightest sapphire blue water you could ever imagine due to the sunlight bouncing off of the limestone bottom was such a great experience. It all happens in about 15 minutes but it's totally worth doing! After the Blue Grotto, we went had a great lunch and then explored the rest of the island with our tour guide and enjoyed the amazing quaint village of Anacapri. It was an amazing day and one that we would highly recommend!

We had a short time in Sorrento and did not plan ahead but I emailed the company, Golden tours the night before and asked if they had any room the next day. He directed me to a link and said to book it. We did, the bus picked us up a very close hotel as we were staying at a B&B, and the day was great. Our tour guide was very good, connected and efficient, given the crowds on Capri. He enlightened us as to such things as.....you can go see the Blue Grotto, but it will cost XX dollars in total and then you will be waiting in line, ...etc. We opted for the boat tour around the island instead and it was a great use of our time! Very happy with Golden Tours, Ugo, iirc, was our guide. We was super! Thanks

We made our own way to Capri via the Sorrento ferry service, it was a quick crossing approximately 30 minutes and we were there. Very commercialised island with lots of tourists. Everything was expensive : shops food and drinks. Nice to see it though and quite a charming island. Didn’t go on any boat trips but used a taxi to get to the main shopping area and that was very expensive.( both the taxi and the shops) Lots of designer shops and gift shops. In comparison the tram type transport was extremely cheap but crowded.Visiting Capri was a once in a lifetime experience .

Hello We are sorry you didn't like your visit at Capri Island. It seems you visited the island by your own but we are a Tour Operator arranging tours and activities you never booked with us. Since we unfairly received a 2-star review on our page, can you please cancel this review? Thanks

Our capri day tour was the highlight of our trip in Italy. It was not even included in our itinerary when we planned our trip to Amalfi. But some friends recommended it is a must to visit Capri. So, when we met Louisa from Tempio Travel, she recommended a private boat tour (about 8-10 people) to see different grottos provided with snacks and drink, explore the town of Capri for 4hours and to be picked up and brought back to our hotel. We did not book it straightaway as the price was a bit expensive. We thought about it and considered its advantages. Its advantages outweighed the option of doing the tour by ourselves so we went for it and I’m glad we did! We really enjoyed the boat tour; seeing those different coloured grottos; relaxing on the boat feeling the sea breeze; enjoying the warmth of the sun on our faces and getting tanned; and hearing the calming sound of the sea and seagulls were unbeatable! This kind of experience will definitely make you shout “this is the life!”. I would never forget this in my entire life!

Capri is nice. It can be busy because of the tourists visiting the place. I never expected that it is a posh island and expensive to stay. Different shops of signatured brands can be found along the streets. A day tour won’t be enough if you plan to explore the entire island and experience the activities it offers.

Capri is a must to visit if you plan to travel to Amalfi. And I would highly recommend to book a private boat tour from Tempio Travel to have a more relaxed and enjoyable trip and get a good glimpse of the grottos.

We did not have a lot of time to spend when visiting this stunning island last October. We were fortunate to find ENZO, who took us to some wonderful locations with fabulous views! Enzo is a native who shared his true passion for this remarkable jewel! We will be returning next year. Can't wait!

Bought the Capri Day Tour golden ticket online, months before my trip and it certainly didn't disappoint. You have to make your own way, by ferry to Capri, then you really shouldn't have to pay for anything else whilst in Capri.
The boat tour around the island was interesting. Then it was off to Anacapri. Lunch was delicious. The chairlift was breathtaking and funicular back to the harbour/port area was novel.
My only complaint would be the bus service to and from Anacapri, not well organised, but that was just a blip on an otherwise gorgeous day.
