There are plaes of interest to have a drink or get that quality shot of the Spanish Steps. A man was playing the piano in the late afternoon. The place has a stylish edge.Visited March 2023Traveled with friendsWritten March 29, 2023

It is usually very busy because of the shopping in the area, but more so because the Piazza is at the bottom of the Spanish Steps. At the bottom of the Spanish Steps there is a fountain called Fontana Della Barcaccia or “Fountain of the Old Boat”. It was commissioned by Pope Urban VII and was completed by Bernini.Visited September 2023Traveled soloWritten October 1, 2023

In the center there is a large staircase of 135 steps (Spanish Steps) leading to a beautiful church on top. At the bottom of the steps right in the middle of the square you will find the imposing Fontana Della Barcaccia (Old Boat). Few meters in front of the fountain rises a column of Virgin Mary. The Piazza is full of entertainers, painters, street artists etc... surrounded by shops of high-end designers brands and it's so close to Trevi fountain.Visited July 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 31, 2023

A big square in the city that have almost everything you need, ranging from high end shopping districts, hotels, local shopping precincts with souvenir and lifestyle goods shops, supermarket, restaurants, cafes, fast food restaurants, ice cream shops etc, you can easily spend half a day here, walking around and shopping.]
When we were there, it was late afternoon (almost evening) and shortly, the place got very crowded, and people rushed here for shopping and dinner. It was full of vibes and vibrancy and high in human traffic!
When you are in Rome, do come by and indulge in the wonderful, nice and amazing atmosphere!

One of the most famous squares in Rome.
Piazza di Spagna is a beautiful, cosmopolitan, historic and cheerful meeting point. And you shouldn't miss it on your visit to Rome.
It has wonderful cafes and restaurants nearby and even expensive shops for shopping.
And eventhough I didn't have the time to visit Piazza di Spagna during the sunset time I heard that it magical so you should definatelly give it a visit!

Busy area with a large congregation of tourists. There are several of such piazzas dotted around Rome. It's at one of the ends of the popular shopping districts - Via del Corso

Hello, I was in Rome a few days ago, I obviously visited Piazza di Spagna and I want to make a question. In the metro station in Spagna, on Saturday and Sunday, I saw a boy holding a blue guitar and a white dog was sitting next to him. Is there anybody who knows his name? I have to find him please...
Written October 25, 2017
Nope, but he was still there today... :)
