    good experience
Kids friendly environment. It was a raining day however we still had a great day! Staff were polite and nice. Outside pool was warm even in the rain, which is important to us, lol. We had snacks which were tasty. Great experience.

    Great day
We enjoyed a great day at the spa and at e44 each was really good value; everywhere we went was spotlessly clean. We each had a robe, swim cap and towel - bring your own flipflops. It's a large place with no instructions in English so to start with it all seemed a bit confusing but we soon found our way around and enjoyed hot/cold water courses, saunas, steam rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi. All in all a great day and would recommend.

    Great experience
The outdoor pool is lovely, and there are plenty of sunbeds. We mainly stayed outside but the inside was equally good. We worked it might get crowded but it never felt that way at all. Lunchtime salad was also very good. Highly recommended. We would definitely have returned fo a second visit if we had just a little more time.

    Better than I was expecting
I have never tried anything like this before so no clue what to expect I was a bit lost to start but soon found my way round. I had booked a mud treatment but in hindsight that was a bit of a faff and would probably chose body massage next time. It was a bit daunting being naked, but respectfully covered with towels, whilst a man carried out the treatment but I suspect I was more bothered than he was. I booked in advance but if not going in peak season best to wait and book on the day as less expensive. I read reviews about staff being rude i would say they were more aloof than rude and probably just a cultural thing. Certainly worth a visit

    Best spa anywhere!
This place is just amazing. We booked as the weather was looking wet and we had the best time. I recommend booking online in advance to avoid disappointment. This was really easy to do and allowed us to book a package with a treatment. The whole place is so clean and hygienic. They provide robes and a towels so you just need flipflops and a swimsuit. We spent a glorious 3.5 hours enjoying the excellent thermal spa pools, Saunas, jacuzzi’s, bubble beds and a drink in the cafe. All with beautiful views right on the lake. Could not recommend this place highly enough and no spa could ever now compare.

    Greatest place awful service
We called in and were asked to book online so went off to a table to do so. Went back in the evening for the session. Young lady on reception looked bored and tired. She spoke at top speed so we didn’t catch any of it. Given a locker type watch so got the gist. Where to go? Not a clue so followed someone in a dressing gown. Fantastic pools. Some leaflets in different languages would help immensely. I would have loved some information about the place and how it came about. As we were sent off in the afternoon to book online we could have read up for the evening session. Those arriving early could also do this. We felt like a bit of a nuisance really for visiting.

    The new 8th World Wonder!
I went to Aquaria Thermal SPA during the evening (a four hour entry) which included the indoor and outdoor heated pools, jacuzzi, saunas, various adventures ("Mountains, Rain, Stars, etc) - which are the 'chill-areas'. I also had a massage. There is a fabulous restaurant to snack (healthy) or have a drink (alcoholic or not, cold or hot). The staff are incredible! This is an absolute MUST if you are in Italy. The outdoor pools in winter are amazing. Sitting in the (outdoor) sauna while watching the lake is truly a breathtaking experience, especially if you use the cooler pool immediately after. The differently scented showers are so exciting. The 'walking pool' (with hot then cold water) is such a fantastic idea and you can actually feel it stimulating your blood! Overall, every second at Aquaria was an unbelievably wonderful experience.

Please translate the confirmation email you received and don't assume this is like any standard spa around the world. You have to read everything they say to the letter. We turned up with the standard spare clothes and swimwear as we have done for any spa around the world. You need to bring your own sandals that are made of either rubber or plastic. If you don't, they won't let you in, but...they do offer their own sandals for €18 each... A way to get a bit more money out of you.

Obviously this is a common occurrence and I imagine the staff get a lot of flack for it (we treated them with respect as we understand they're just enforcing their company's tactics, so just went with it all...)

It isn't the staff's fault, but it has evidently created a bad work culture, where the staff dislike the customers, and believe me, it shows! No instructions on anything, I had to ask other customers where to get my bath robe and towel, where to lock away your clothes etc. (Thank god for the Italian public who were helpful).

Also in the men's changing room, there was an older female staff member getting an eyeful...not sure if they have male staff in the female changing rooms.

Hopefully with the negative reviews the company receive, they can look at why they're getting these comments about their customer service and ask what are common complaints the staff get and possibly look at ways to reset the relationship the staff have with the customers.

I gave 2 stars because the spa is lovely but the way you're spoken to and having to buy particular sandals for the spa was frustrating and just wasn't a relaxing start to what is supposed to be a calming and peaceful experience.

Dear customer, thank you for your review. We would like to inform you that the policy regarding our supply of the linen kit, as well as what concerns the swimming pool slippers not included, is correctly reported in the conditions described in the confirmation email that the customer receives, during the booking phase. Looking forward to welcoming you again. Best Regards

Rainy day well spent.
Water perfect temperature. Lots of different pools, saunas, showers and treatments/massages.
Restaurant and overall buildings are not really cozy.

My boyfriend and I were looking forward to our time at the spa because of the many great reviews on the site— but we were thoroughly disappointed. We were met at the front by a receptionist (Stefano) who clearly looked like he did not want us there already. He checked us in but did not let us go through because we didn’t have flip flops. Our mistake, because we did not read that in the initial instructions, but it was at this point he became very aggravated and hostile towards us. He badgered us for not reading the instructions, rolled his eyes, implied we were stupid Americans, and condescendingly said “well Welcome to Italy” after we explained that we had never experience this kind of customer service treatment at a spa before. For reference we had visited around 4 spas throughout Italy already, all of which provided flip flops, towels, etc. Again, our mistake for not having them with us, but to be treated horribly by a receptionist and yelled at to buy €18 flip flops was absurd. Based on the service alone, I do not recommend anyone come to or spend time at this spa.

Thank you for your feedback. We are extremely sorry you felt mistreated by our personnel. Our aim is to offer a special experience also through the professionalism and kindness of all the associates working in Aquaria. As you mentioned, the information about the slippers is clearly stated but please rest assured that it is not our intention to force our guests to buy the items exclusively from our counters. Kind regards

Very disappointed with this spa. Was looking forward to a relaxing evening experience, which did not get in comparison with other spas have been to. Receptionists were rude when checking in, did not explain anything and were aggy that didn’t have a pair of flip flops to wear when you can normally get given them at other spas with your robe and towel. They made us buy some expensive flip flops at 17 euros each to enter, when everyone inside once in there had dirty shoes on themselves, so I found that a piss take. Did not explain where to go to get into the pools and what facilities there were which was quite disorientating and uncomfortable when you’re in your robe trying to find where to go, then when asking you are looked at like an idiot. Just made me feel totally off to begin with and unwelcome which is a shame as the pools are really nice but the receptionist staff clearly aren’t.

Dear Guest, Thank you for the feedback. We are very sorry you were not satisfied with your experience however both on our website and the confirmation letter it is clearly stated that slippers are not included in the SPA kit moreover it is not our intention to force our clients to buy the slippers from our counter. We make sure that upon arrival all the relevant information is given and at times it could seem a lot but we do inform our clients how to move around, signs are well placed in the area and staff by the pools and wet areas are available to help. Kind regards
