My partner and I were refused to enter because they didn't scan my partner's covid pass correctly. We had already traveled around Italy and used our covid passes with no issues, but on this occasion the manager of the venue said that my partner's pass was not valid. We have both been vaccinated and have a valid covid pass, my partner had also done a covid test 3 days earlier as he flew to Milan to visit me. After being treated pretty badly we left and dined at another restaurant, where our passes were scanned and accepted, as usual.
The manager of Blue Note also told me that they'd refund the tickets only as "a favour". I was shocked to see so much incompetence, given the great reputation that the value has. Needless to say that I was pretty upset. We had just gotten engaged and they ruined our evening. Definitely never going back again.

At 14 euros for a glass of chianti, somebody must be having a laugh. If I thought a decent part of this was going to the musos, I could understand. But I suspect most of it goes to the shareholders or possibly to the unhelpful and surly staff who seem to spend most of their time rushing around in a very distracting manner during the set. Music is invariably top class.

We have been to this place several times to listen to good music.
This time, we decided to have dinner. A total disappointment.
Hurried service, food much less than mediocre and very expensive: a 3 euros ‘cover charge’ doesn’t have any sense (paper placemats and towels). We had a soup with ‘plastic’ shrimps, cold and totally tasteless with very old slices of bread, fast-food-style chicken nuggets and an anonymous Caesar salad. An almost undrinkable glass of wine, and a bottle of water.
To close our very mediocre dinner, we choose the 'lemon sorbet': we are served a big glass of an ignoble sweet concoction, at room temperature. Repulsive (and obviously remained in the glasses).
We paid 120 € (party of 3), plus 120 € for the music, for a total of 240 € for the evening.
I will NEVER have dinner at Blue Note again.
And I’ll see if going back again for the music… after such a disappointment, I'm not sure!

Skip dinner (or brunch) and just go for the music. Get there early or you won't get a decent seat as the tables are reserved for diners.

My experience, firstly, if it's a jazz club where you sit down for dinner to watch show, make sure your guests can actually watch the show. the tables are positioned in such a clinical straight rows way that you will have 4 heads and bodies in front of you and everybody will move to watch the show. I left with a pain in the neck. for a jazz club this pattern of tables is very amateur.
The food; definitely overpriced for what it is, tip, have appetizers, the fried gnocchi and cold cuts is a great plate to start with, the ravioli eggplant not so much.
The service; very generic and cold in general, not very personal, plates were rushed away from the table whilst still eating and when you thought they were being picked up to make room for the main course, nothing comes to your table for another 15 minutes.
The check was delivered by hand as a drugstore receipt, not a plate, not a leather folder, a hand placing a strip of paper with numbers on your table. not very elegant for a jazz club in Milan where tickets are around $35.
So there, book a neck massage for the after show, maybe have a sandwich before going, and dont expect anything extra luxurious because you're paying a pretty penny.
it's jazz time.

Our hotel contacted this club on our behalf to make enquiries about price etc. We got a taxi to the location and on our arrival we were greeted by four unpleasant personnel sitting at the reception or pay-in desk. After a discussion with them about the price, we left, feeling very unhappy. We got the distinct impression that they did not want us in the club? There were 4 people in our group, so they lost out on quite a bit of money that evening. We went to a pub down the street, were we had an enjoyable evening and was much less expensive.

Absolutely stunning atmosphere, you get to sit just a meter away from the artists who then just walk into the crowd to have a few drinks. It's not the darker jazz club, but it doesn't try to portray itself like that either.
Any Jazz fan should go and visit this club as soon as possible. Best Jazz performance in a jazz club i've seen. Period.

Very nice place to spend an evening. We were lucky to have Fabrizio Bosso playing that evening. Simply AMAZING! Also you can order food and/or drinks. The prices are OK and the quality of the food/drinks too. Order tickets online to save money.

What I love about this place is the atmosphere, every time I come here I feel great. I haven't tried the restaurant, but I think the prices for the food are overrated (and also you have to arrive in time and eat before the concert, not during), so my advice is to eat at home or have dinner somewhere else. You may add to the price of the ticket the cost of one drink, which is around 10€. Talking about prices, the place is a little bit selective -unfortunately for a student like me who loves jazz- but I think it is worth the money if you go once in a blue moon :)
