The beach was beautiful and we were part of a hotel which kept it from getting too crowded. The water was warm. It was also beautiful. However, once we started snorkeling, we found quite a lot of small jellyfish. They were not a problem for us. Just be careful.

Perfect place if you love long sand beach and if you have children who hate to build castles made of stones. Water level is low for 4/5 meters from the beach.
It offers both payment and free of charge places.
Restaurants and bar are available.
Top is during the sunset.

What you see is what you get when the Scirocco wind blows. One of the best served sand beaches of the Island.

We skip it at first but in spite of the first feeling we came for three days in a row.
Green water and perfectly clean sand. Free parking and the L' Orizzonte restaurant just 40 m far from the seaside. No disturbing music. Enjoy.

This beach is gorgeous- crystal clear water, soft sand, in a quiet bay. Absolutely perfect! There are a couple of beach bar/restaurants and rentals of kayaks and other small craft. Quite a find on an island with so many rock and stone beaches.

This nice sandy beach is very overcrowded Which is a shame as it is a nice village but I suppose that is the penalty for visiting in August

The Procchio Beach has fine, brownish sand & warm and calm water. In August, hiring one umbrella and two sunbeds costed 25 euros. There is a paid parking place which is somewhat close to the beach and costs 1 euro/hour. But as far as we observed, this parking place was closed on Thursdays due to a local market. Our daughter liked this beach but reaching the beach across all the crowd was a bit hard for her.

This was the highlight of our summer holidays 2015. We tried to reach a wavy beach, but in Tuscany there are almost no waves, no tides at all. However due to the bay form and the boats within it going and coming, we got lovely waves, no current, neither flora or fauna in the water. Although seemly busy (as everywhere in August in Italy), all the family (elders, kids and parents) had so much fun, in the water, under the sun, or under the umbrella :) We parked as we arrived to Via Delle Ginestre (Autostrada 25) on our right into a open lot advertizing for parking. We walk along that street but in shore direction, about 8 minutes we got to the public beach, but we choose rent umbrellas (Rent Malua) to guarantee shadow and a safe place.

Definitely you can't miss this beautiful beach in Procchio - close to the middle of the island of Elba! Very white sandy beach with lots of restaurants and bars nearby including the salotto di Procchio full of small food shops and bars. Great to swim and relax!
