Great quality Lacquerware

We visited Nhu based on a recommendation from Lonely Planet and we were not disappointed! This family run business bases itself on the quality of its goods. They also have a great range in Eastern and Western design. We ended up getting our Vietnam souvenirs and a beautiful jewelry box from Nhu.

Excellent Lacquerware shop in Ho Chi Minh City!!

I found an excellent lacquerware shop in Ho Cho Minh City!
Staffs were very friendly and politely.
They accepted my personal request willingly and checked the design in detail.
After that I got excellent products.
I will use their products and I'd like to introduce this shop with my friends.

Don't make my mistake and think you can get it cheaper at the markets, you cant. What is sold at the market is sub standard and just doesn't cut it, once you have seen how they create it and what they do. We actually did this as part of a full day tour and really weren't that interested but gosh was I wrong and now I am so very sorry I didn't buy that jewelry box when I had the chance. First world problem, I know, but gee that would have been a great treasure, consider yourself told.

Nhu Y Lacquerware: a MUST SEE in Ho Chi Minh City!

Are you looking for nice souvenirs from Vietnam? If so, don't hesitate 1 minute and go to Nhu Y Lacquerware! It is definitely the best address in Ho Chi Minh city! Duc and his father are selling a wide range of MAGNIFICENT and HIGH QUALITY lacquerware products: coffee tables, lamps, jewellery boxes, trays, candle holders, bottle holders, frames, placemats etc. Their shop is just the paradise for all lovers of beautiful things! Shipping of the items to our country of residence also worked very well. All the products were packed with the greatest care and arrived in perfect condition. In brief, we can only recommend Nhu Y Lacquerware for the amazing products they sell, but also for their great service and professionnalism! We will definitely visit the shop again during our next stay in Vietnam!

Beautiful Place to visit

They have all kind of things from small handicraft lacquerware to big tables, lamps. The location is quite hard to find as its locate on the third floor of the apartment.
Their new location address is 90/301 Nguyen Hue Street, district 1, Third Floor.
If you have time and interested in lacquer, its a definitely a place to visit.

Beatiful art work .

We were staying in Ho Chi Ming city . Each day we would set off for an adventure and found this amazing lacquerware shop. It is run by a family who's daughter has a degree in graphic art. She deigns the pieces.
I purchased some stunning pieces. This shop had so many unique high quality pieces from tissue box covers, to tea boxes, wall art, chop sticks, coasters, lamps and many many more.
I filled my suitcase with stunning gifts. The prices were very reasonable.
To me it was the best quality shopping in Ho Chi Ming city. In fact they have two shops, one just down the main road. If they don't have what you want they run down the street to find it for you.
The family ans staff were so friendly and kind.
A must to visit. I love it.
