Many popular shopping destinations can be reached by this LRT line coming from Gombak suburb. Suria Mall is at KLCC station, Masjid Jamek is for the Indian neighborhood by the Mosque and next Pasar Seni both for Central Market and Chinatown. After the main railway station and Nu Sentral Mall, Abdullah Hukum is the nearest for both Midvalley malls.

I took this LRT train to go from Maluri to Miharja. It is just a one stop journey and it is very comfortable. There are plenty of seats available inside and the stations are also very clean and well maintained.

I mostly used Rapid KL LRT during my stay at Kuala Lumpur, Fast and efficient.
Crowded with commuters during business hours. Take care of your belongings while traveling.

I use this line frequently because it is prompt, clean, and efficient, with passengers behaving civic-mindedly. Additional coaches are provided during peak hours so that waiting periods are short. All coaches have seating for wheelchairs and prams, and priority seating for the elderly or infirm. Stations have security stewards standing by, and ticket kiosks function for long-enough hours. Feeder busses to and from stations provide car drivers with options to park outside the stations too.

This is one of the cheapest and efficient way to get around. The line stretches from Putra Heights to Ampang passing by many stations in Petaling Jaya. It passes through the KL Sentral transportation hub where you can take the ERL to KLIA, monorail to Titiwangsa. You get an absolutely different view of the Klang valley.

Took the Kelana Jaya LRT line from Putra Heights to Ampang Park, and took a 5 minutes walk from Ampang park station to Double tree by Hilton KL... the walk was pleasant under covered allevated walkway.

The train passed by several housing developments included connectivity with the Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) Komuter, Sunway line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), various rapid bus and the Sungai Buloh–Kajang MRT line services.

The LRT took me from Putra Heights, Subang Jaya (SS and USJ), then to Ara Damansara. Kelana Jaya, passed by Paramount garden, SEA park, then to Taman Jaya, Bandar South, arriving at KL Sental and Pasar Seni before going underground to Ampang park station, stopping at KLCC station along the way.

All along the journey, it passed by several shopping malls, which are usually within walking distance. These are the Damen mall, Submit shopping mall and Subang Parade in Subang Jaya. At Kelana Jaya station, one can take the bus service to Paradigm mall near by or to One Utama Shopping mall in Bandar Utama. One may also stop at KL Gateway–Universiti LRT station to the KL Gateway mall. You may choose to stop at KL Sentral station to do some shopping too at Nu Sentral, or take 10 minutes walk to the National Museum nearby or catch a train to Northern or South regions, or change to the Sungai Buloh–Kajang MRT line. At the next stop at Pasar Seni, one can disembarked here and take a walk thru China Town or popularly known as Petaling Street. At KLCC station, one can visit the iconic twin tower, Suria KLCC and the KLCC park.

Indeed this Kelana Jaya LRT line have many interesting place of interests as a stop by... this line end at the Gombak station, where one can visit the National Zoo. Happy Carless travel.

An excellent mode of communication if you are anywhere near an LRT station. It is quick, clean and reliable. The general downside to travelling in the city on the train/monorail is the disconnect between the different lines. Unfort the auth lacked the foresight to make it seamless. The other is that the Sentral Station, the hub, is a dog’s breakfast in terms of where everything is.

This is a very ancient form of public transportation. The system is horrible and the train is cramped, especially during rush hour.
