- AliDerby, United Kingdom32 contributionsFabulous! A must if you’re in Nerja!Fabulous, highly recommend this experience. Ideal for any age range. Entrance was at 8pm. The show started at 8:30pm and lasted for around 1 hour. Great music and the dancers were amazing. Paid €20 per person and included a drink. Cash only.Visited July 2023Traveled with familyWritten July 8, 2023
- janet1011Dublin, Ireland89 contributionsFabulous showFabulous show, the dancers, singer and guitarist were so talented. It was a true, authentic Spanish experience. The show lasts two hours with a brief break in between. The bar is also an authentic Spanish bar, they leave fans out for patrons as it's so warm in there. They have ceiling fans, but that's no match for air con, so be advised if you don't like swealtering heat, it might not be suitable for you.Visited August 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten August 26, 2023
- falcon38London, United Kingdom96 contributionsSpanish charm with a warm hint of chaos.Lovely evening show. Long queue before 8pm. Everyone waited patiently whilst dancers and guitarist arrived just before 8pm. Doors opened at 8.15 for entrance and friendly chaos ensued. Confusion over telephone bookings. Everyone taken to seats. At 8.45 show started. Included drinks arrived as late as 2115 and no one could get drinks ahead of this at the bar. Cash only. Ran out of water. A few fans but very hot. Show was authentic and passionate and worth entry fee. Genuine Spanish charm worth paying for. Show length 75 minutes including ten minute intermission.Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 15, 2023

It has the look and feel of a typical Spanish bodega. There was nice flamenco music streaming out of the speakers, so we went in and suddenly we were in a corner by the dance floor and there were flamenco dancers stomping about. And before we knew what hit us, we had to order something. Two had water (1 adult, 1 child), one had glass of wine (1 adult) and we shared a minimum platter of some simple tapas - cold cuts, a little cheese. The dancers were fine and seemed very professional, but the music was recorded and the dance floor surrounded by pale and stiff Northern European tourists smiling in the strained way Northern Tourists will smile when the Southern blood is running hot on the stage. It felt just a tiny bit sad, and prefab for the tourists. And when we left, we were charged 31 euros; worst of all - they only accept cash! I realise the steepish price was for the dancers, not the two glasses of water, but still, we felt slightly ambushed. I'm sure this bar is great late at night, when the locals are out!

Really amazing performance by 3 wonderful dancers. Live music with a singer and guitar player. Free drink and small plate of tapas. Lovely venue. Just loved every minute. Was 2 hours for €49 for 2 of us. Worth every euro! A really lovely bit of Spanish culture. Dancers were so passionate and talented.

The flamenco show was excellent, the dancers were on for 90 minutes.
The down side to the evening was the price of the drinks absolute joke, I appreciate the running costs of a flamenco show but €8 for a small beer daylight robbery will not be going back.

I was so excited about visiting this flamenco bar from just reading the reviews. I find it very difficult to sum up in words my thoughts but here goes... The bar has amazing blue tiles on the walls and looks typically Spanish. The host was so fantastic making sure we all had drinks before the dancing. The flamenco dancers (3 ladies and 1 man) were just fantastic. There dresses were just so beautiful, but it was the dancing that was out of this world. I cannot remember smiling so much as I did whilst watching them perform. I have seen flamenco dancing back in England but nothing compares to the real thing. I had such an amazing night, many thanks to all. I will see you again next year x

If there ever was a 'tourist trap', that was the one! The show has nothing to do with the real Flamenco. The music is on playback, to mention first. Then two girls and a guy were dancing some variation of after school modern ballet and from time to time were shouting "hole!" to make it sound more authentic. Worst of all, they were completely aware of what they have been doing and were seemingly greatly amused by the stupidity of the ignorant tourists, ready to spend time and money for this farce. On the bright side the sangria was good and not overpriced. Advice: If you want to enjoy real Flamenco, go to Burriana Restaurant, close to the steakhouse. Very humble environment, but the dancers are authentic and the guitar and the singing are live. Unfortunately this restaurant is not included in trip advisor, so I could not write a review about it.

We found El Burro Blanco after Googling flamenco shows in the area. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because it was tricky to find a phone number to contact them for reservations. Besides that, it was the best 6 Euros I've ever spent to see one of the best flamenco shows ever. The dancers are talented, and the highlight was getting to come up and participate with the dancers in some dancing in between sets. It was a lovely night and I highly recommend going! Please make reservations!

There was no Daniel Romero on the Monday night we visited. There was only recorded music. The three girls did their best but that flamenco magic never happened. None of them went into that sort of trance state. There was no solo tap dance with changes in the beat.
