Tripiti is a pebbled, windless heat trap. It looks beautiful from the road. It is well-managed and has a great restaurant on its premises, Taverna Pirofani. The beach itself, however, leaves little to be desired. Yes, it's wide and quiet. But it's pebbled and south-facing. The sea is quiet which means you get very little wind and heats up quite quickly. More-so than any other beach I've visited on the island. There are plenty of other places out there. Not worth it.

one of the many beautiful coves and beaches on the island ..... and one from which we managed to see dolphins swimming nearby .... the ""sand"" is not really sand but a fine gravel and we would recommend the wearing of beach shoes here

Big, very clean beach. Clean water, good for snorkeling, also great for kids. One part of beach with stone in the sea.
Good tavern in behind. On the left beach side (look on sea) few nudists.
Great experience swimming through the cave but from open sea side.
Recommendation for this beach

We have been to a lot of beaches in thasos and this was the best one for us. We searched for a less crowded and more quiet beach and tripiti was the perfect choise.
Price for 2 sundbeds is 5 €.
The only thing is that there are rocks in the water and swimming shoes are recommended.

We passed the whole island, checking many beaches, but Tripiti beach was the best. Other popular beaches on Thassos are very, very crowded, lot of noise and families with kids. But Tripiti was a hit! We took sunbeds (2 sunbeds + umbrella - 5€) in beach bar Plavoulis, very nice place, with nice food and decent prices. The lady that work in the bar is such a nice person, and the music is so pleasant!! The beach is very big, on the one side of bar is a big resort but that part of beach is more crowded, and on other side there is a nice calm place for nudists.Whats when you enter the sea, it's little difficult, but worth it :) Next to this beach, right after the big rock, there is one more big wild beach without restaurant, bars and sunbeds for rent, but it's a great place to relax and watch sunsets :)

an average-quality beach for the island of Thasos. I was surprised by the little cave at the entrance.

A very nice beach I discovered during the first trip to Thassos. The vegetation is beautiful, the water is clean, if you are lucky you can have amazing waves! The sand is perfect and the sunsets are unique. You should not miss it!

In my opinion Tripiti beach is one of the best in the southern part of Thassos Island. Maybe this beach is not the most picturesque one in Thassos, but I considered it a beach for all types of tourists.
It is very long and large, has fine sand and is well organized but it remains also plenty of room for the ones that want to install their own umbrellas and towels on sand. The water is crystal clear, the bottom is sandy mainly on the central part, and the water depth is increasing gradually. So this beach can be considered children friendly.
There are also two good restaurants and enough parking spaces even in top season.
But for us the most important attraction for Tripiti beach remains the snorkeling around the right side of the cliff shore. More than that you can go directly to the best snorkeling ground using the short natural tunnel that is under the right hand hill.
Is there are waves the snorkeling will be difficult and also the clarity of water can be affected. Otherwise the visibility under water is about 20 m. In accordance with my snorkeling standards, the right side of Tripiti beach ( on the other side of the hill) has a score of 4 (from 5) being the second snorkeling place in Thassos (after Aliki 2 &3 beaches).

Nice large beach near Limenaria, with fine gravel and rocks in the water. In one section there is a separate nudist area. As the beach is great, everyone has their own peace and space.

Sandy beach, wide enough, well organised with sunbeds, not so crowded even in mid-August, crystal clear water but beware of the slippery rocks when you enter. Nice tavern around

It s the 4 th day for me in Thasos. We ve been visiting a different beach each day. We ve got a hotel room near the main port and because the time is short i have to choose the most beautiful beaches to spend quality time and we are also crazy about snorkeling. Can anyone give me some advice about places to go here in Thasos?
