Spathies beaches are lovely and beautiful. We recommend bigger Spathies beach which is very lovely, quiet, sandy and great for families with children and people looking for quiet places on the beach. During the week you might find only a few people on the bigger Spathies beach. The smaller one is more crowded but still beautiful. No places to buy something or rent umbrellas but that was not a problem for us. Bring your cooler and everything is perfect. :)

What most visitors do not immediately realise is that there is not one, but two Spathies beaches. "Little Spathies" is the one closest to "Kalogria Beach". It has an amazing, large pine, under whose shade you can spend a whole day. Bare in mind, though, that there is precious little shade here, so if you don't arrive early, you risk spending time in the sun. The water is amazingly clear and a joy to swim and snorkel in. For the "Big Spathies (Megales Spathies)", go through the iron gate above the little beach and follow the track around the hill. A large, sandy beach awaits you. Very little shade, but crystalline waters and lots of space! I believe these two beaches to be among the finest in the region, if not the whole of Greece. Enjoy!

Spathies beach is a unknown beach despite other beaches in Sithonia. The owner of our hotel suggested us to go there. The sea is very clean and under water is sandy. Beach is pebble. It has no umbrella and sun bed but i highly recommend this beach as it is very small and not crowded because only local knows.

It's a small, very cute beach with one giant tree in the middle to provide shelter from the sun (there are no sunbeds or umbrellas-take your own with you). It can be packed with tourists so my suggestion is to get up early, spend a few hours there and then move on to another beach.

We spent a little while here, with a picknick bucket with some nice drinks and food to see the sunset. What a beautifull spot, sitting on the rocks with some great food with our family.

The beach is very small, but it has trees, you can find a place in their shadow.
The water was excellent, clean and clear, we saw interesting marine fauna while snorkeling.
I certainly recommend this beach for its lovely water!

Beautiful secluded beach with crystal blue water. BUT we could not enjoy it as the beach is tiny and was mostly occupied by big group of Romanian tourists.
We went to the bigger beach next to it but it is just not the same. Almost no natural shade there and the water resembled a lake.
Better go either early in the morning or late afternoon.

Turquoise water and not many people, do not be afraid of the road leading there. Swim out and you'll see also some wildlife in the water. Shade and trees, during hot time.
