Felix was an excellent guide. Spoke several languages. Lots of information about the food and the areas visited. Good variety of food. Nice pace of tour.
We highly recommend this tour for those that want to be filled to the brim with historical knowledge of this amazing city. Our guide, Julian, met us punctually at our hotel to begin the tour. Julian’s understanding of the complex history of Europe and how that has impacted life and events in Berlin and Germany is outstanding. This is a packed full day of places and events that shaped Berlin and provided an amazing overview of all the influences that came to shape the history and events of the 20th century that were centered in Berlin. We truly appreciated the entire day and the amount of history we learned.
We enjoyed the whole day with Gunter, seeing all these palaces and beautiful gardens. Gunter has an enormous knowledge about Prussien history and kings and their families. So we followed their traces with tea houses, grottos and uncountable sculptures. Gunter even explained why skme of them more naked than overs. After that we had lunchvin an Austrian style café in Potsdam city. We tried a very good Currywurst. Finally we went to the Potsdam Conference palace, more an English landscape manor house. Completely different to the rococo palaces before, and a different time of German history. In total a really recommedable tour! Go for it!
We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide (Shadi) who was very helpful and well-informed. He showed us some amazing places such as Cecilienhof palace and Sanssouci palace, which were both very impressive and significant in history (especially for those who are interested in the second world war, Cecilienhof Palace is a must-see). He gave us enough time to explore these places and then he took us to the charming Potsdam old town, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch at a great Italian restaurant. He also fulfilled our request and took us to the bridge where the US and Soviet used to exchange prisoners during the cold war, as shown in the bridge of spies' movie. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Berlin.
We had such an incredible experience with Loulia and City Unscripted on a 3 hour Tour of Berlin!
We won a competition for a weekend break in Berlin and part of that was this 3 hour movie tour, I filled out the questionnaire and explained that we were really interested in the Techno scene in Berlin.
Loulia wasn’t really in to Techno, however she had gone to the effort of doing research in to it and planning the itinerary of our tour to incorporate all of the biggest Techno clubs, along with all the other historical sites throughout the city.
This was one of the highlights of our trip and I can’t recommend her and City Unscripted more highly. Thanks so much.
There’s no better way to connect from Berlin to Prague. Our guide Sebastian was attentive, looked to us for feedback on how the trip was going and if were satisfied with each stop. Don’t waste your day on the train when you can experience the Saxony region with a knowledgeable guide. Highly recommend.
This was a fabulous walking tour. Quincy gave a great history lesson into Potsdam - it's royal history, palaces, gardens, influences, old, new, rebuilt, and East German architecture, and relation to Berlin and how it set the stage for the horrors of the 20th century. Highly recommended for any Berlin itinerary. There is so much to see and do in Berlin, and so much history, but with Potsdam so close this is a great addition and a great walk to boot.
This was so much fun. Because we went in January, and we booked the first tour of the morning, my partner and I were the only ones there, so we got a private tour. A little scary at first as we had to ride the Segways on the road, once you get used to it, it is very fun and exciting. If you do go in the winter months, make sure to wear proper gloves!
