The Museo Santa Caterina is an astonishing architectural complex and collection. It centers on a 14-century church, no longer in service, with remarkable frescoes of the Life of St. Ursula. The frescoes would be enough to make this the worthy object of an art-lover's pilgrimage, but there is much more: a brilliant collection of ancient archeological finds, collected by a visionary antiquarian priest, and a splendid collection of Medieval and Renaissance paintings, including little-known masterpieces by Bellini, Titian, and other old masters. Don't miss it!
