We loved our tour with Alessandra! She was so knowledgeable about Florence, both its history and its food. We tried a great variety of delicious foods and Alessandra explained the relevance of each meal. We particularly loved the mouthwatering beef in red wine and the excellent wild boar salami. We also appreciated the visit to the leather school and the breathtaking stone artwork. We would highly recommend this tour. Thanks for the memories.
This tour was a delicious adventure through Florence! Our guide, Francesco, was so knowledgeable and personable. His easy going demeanor meant for an enjoyable and welcoming experience. Each stop was delicious—we enjoyed trying new foods and left feeling satisfied and full!
CJ was an excellent tour guide and very accommodating for 2 people in our group that have gluten and dairy sensitivities. She has great energy and passion to share Firenze with you. We enjoyed the walk around Firenze and learning more about how the foods originated. There were multiple stops and favorite places such as the food market, pasticceria, enoteca, and gelateria. Make sure you take water with you. It is not provided at each stop. This tour would be a great way to start your visit in Firenze.
My colleagues and I had a great time on our tour with Antonella! She took us all kinds of places we never would have found on our own and she opened our eyes to all kinds of remarkable inside information that enriched our time in Florence immensely. We never, never would have tried lampredotto on our own, for example, or met the King of Cheese! Antonella's tour was time and money well spent!
Very knowledgeable and interesting tour guide. She was very thoughtful to the special needs of the group. Not only did she take us to great food venues, but she also provide explanation on the buildings, architecture and history.
We had a great time on this tour. Aurora was very knowledgeable about the food in Florence. We took a stroller and two little ones and she was very accommodating for our needs.
Fabulous tour with Alice. Eat like a local and get a culinary guided tour of the city. Pick fresh produce from the market and have it freshly prepared ready to eat outside. Alice took us to very local places and we really enjoyed going where we wouldnt have necessarily gone to ourselves. Alice told us the history of the food we were eating/drinking and the people who prepared it for us. A fun and informative tour, highly recommend.
Our tour guide Aurora was joyful and interesting. We tasted lots of local foods that we wouldn’t think to taste in places we wouldn’t find. There was a good variety of foods and sweets. It is well worth the money, we were satiated and satisfied
Great experience. Winery in Chianti was lovely. Alessandro was a great tour guide. Just sad we missed the sunset. I’m guessing because we booked this in October the sun sets earlier. Otherwise it was really nice.
We both thoroughly enjoyed the market tour and the cooking class. It was one of our favorite meals in Florence! I can’t remember our chef’s name, but she was fantastic.
Martina was an amazing host! We showed us all of her favorite local spots, and she also was eager to share her knowledge of the history of the city. The food we tasted was all wonderful and the whole group had a great time. Martina is passionate about food and Florence!
The Chianti and Cheese tour met all of our expectations. Our host, Rebecca was SO knowledgeable about wine and cheese and the three wineries were all unique and delicious. The third winery also had a creamery and all four types of cheese were delicious. We met some great people on the tour and had a wonderful day. This is a unique and memorable experience that you will not regret.
