This is a neat little attraction that doesn’t take long to visit. Huge tea plantation with a store and restaurant located inside.

We went here with the ferry, for €12 per person. We are filmmakers and wanted to fly around with the drone we brought. We only found out on the island itself that it was not allowed to fly with a drone. So it would have been nice to know in advance.

I would recommend to bring your swimwear and maybe go snorkel there, if you want to make it worth your money.

It's a very touristic place. Make sure you get your tickets early in the morning! Ticket sale starts at 9:45.

It was very windy when we stopped so we didnt stay long but the views of the ocean and the towering cliffs was beautiful. You enter through a path and the area has a well maintained garden with flowers, plants, trees, picnic tables, and even a sink for washing up. We would have stayed longer but didn't want to get blown over.

You will see these arches as you enter the downtown area from either the port of one of the hotel districts. They are somewhat iconic and thus worth a look. Nice lighting at night.

If the weather is good, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views from the rooftop of this abandoned, former luxury hotel, that was open for little more than a year and closed in December 1990. Access is officially not permitted, but "everyone" seems to go anyway.
I made a video with further explanations that you can find in my "Golf & Tesla" youtube channel (playlist: drone ..."

Very steep descent and it is recommended to walk down.
The lighthouse is not bad and the views are beautiful.

What a beautiful attraction. The views of the coast line and the ocean are breathtaking. Take 10 minutes and visit this attraction.

We got to drive in a jeep around the top. A unique experience with greenzone tours. Great half day tour with Eddie. We stopped at the historic aqua duct on the way up too.

This fort contains an interesting military museum. You can explore the upper part of the fort to see the guns and admire the lovely views.

Right across from the cruise port conveniently located for a quick visit. Small but still beautiful.

The climb up to this lookout was amazing. We climbed to the top and took lots of scenic pictures. The history about this castle told of its importance of warning the island of incoming war ships

This is another wonderful miradouro on Sao Miguel. The best part about this one, is you get 2 spectacular views. Looks one way and you'll see Mosteiros. Look the other way and you'll see Ferraria.

If you're coming from Sete Cidades, definitely stop here and then continue on to Mosteiros or Ferraria depending on which way you're travelling.

There's a snack bar here as well.

The Museu Carlos Machado has three buildings. You can buy a ticket for one of them or a combination ticket for all three. This building had an exhibit of Prince Albert I of Monaco and his explorations of the Azores. I found it interesting.

these gardens are a fair walk uphill from the harbour , but a must see, very well laid out in the old tradition , just a few euro to get in , you can't go in the palace which is a shame , but overall a great place to visit.
