What travelers are saying
- ROCruiserClaremont, CA4,655 contributionsRight across from the cruise port conveniently located for a quick visit. Small but still beautiful.Written March 13, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Louis FAltus, OK1,025 contributionsReally cool church that isn't as old as it looks. You also have to pay to get into the botanical gardens that it is a part of, however you can easily see it from outside the fence and we didn't feel like we missed all that much by not going in.Written May 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Roving388229708118 contributionsThe climb up to this lookout was amazing. We climbed to the top and took lots of scenic pictures. The history about this castle told of its importance of warning the island of incoming war shipsWritten March 27, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LoneostrichMiami Beach, FL141 contributionsThe bell tower of city hall is free and has great 360 degree views of the city. There's an atmospheric climb (beware, the last section is very tight), and I had the whole thing to myself. Seems very unpublicized. I've generally paid for this sort a view all over the world, but this has now become my favorite since, for once, it was free!Written May 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ksufan88Wichita, KS5,459 contributionsThe entrance to this tower is located around the corner from the front of city hall. The security guard may ask you where you are from and then you are free to climb the stone stairs. The initial climb is wide enough that if you meet someone descending, you can pass one another. These steps have some open spaces between them so may be uncomfortable for some people. Once you reach the bells, the remaining climb is a very tight spiral staircase where it is not possible to pass anyone that you might meet. Fortunately, this part of the climb is fairly short and when you emerge on the rooftop, you are rewarded with nice views all around the city.Written July 29, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
