We were picked up by Stefano at exactly the right time, and this punctuality was true throughout the day. We were just the two of us and settled in very quickly with Stefano, who was very relaxed and informative. On the other hand, we were not "over-informed," which gave us time to see the scenery and chat about other things too. At Ostuni, we had time to gaze at the high white walls and have a relaxing coffee and loo break before being on our way again. We then went on to Alberobello where we gazed at the extraordinary Trulli...the stone work is amazing...in fact the whole area is covered with examples of dry stone walls which are hand made ...plus the Trulli themselves also dry stone built...amazing to think the farmers rushed to pull the Trulli down every time that a tax collecter came into sight! Finally we went to Polignano a Mare...birthplace of one of Italy's most famous popular singers. Beautiful old town with wonderful vistas of the Adriatic. Delicious cocktails and then home to Lecce. Never felt rushed and always comfortable. Basically, Stefano points out several things of interest, arranges the meet-up time, and leaves you to sort yourselves out. It all worked perfectly, and we got home to Lecce very refreshed and ready for dinner! An excellent tour giving maximum information and experience of a region in an easygoing manner.

The tour in Lecce was very enjoyable. Antonella, our tour guide was exceptional. She made the tour pleasant and she is extremely knowledgeable. She provided us with a wealth of information on the history and culture of the city. The pace and duration was perfect. The food tasting was an added touch to the tour and quite tasting. I recommend both the tour and the tour guide.

    What a fun experience!!

The process of making these ‘little ears’ is a little trickier than I expected, but once I got the hang of it, with patient help from the gracious staff, I felt like I was channeling my nonna!

Mine might not have been the best looking, but when we finished making the pasta we got to eat it… and it was delicious!

    Don’t miss this experience!!

In my 30+ years of traveling this was one of my favorite experiences in my entire life. Lisa & Fabio were wonderful hosts. We shared many laughs throughout the evening. The pasta was outstanding and very typical of Puglia and the south in general. Lisa’s sauce is amazing and I can’t wait to try the recipes at home. This is a must do experience in Lecce. I miss Lisa and Fabio already! We left the evening with new friends, full bellies, and amazing recipes to try at home.

We have recently traveled to Cuba and stayed at Sanctuary of Grand Memories resort. We really enjoyed our vacation there. The entertainments of Grand Memories were very good. One of their entertainers named Liliana at front gate is very nice and friendly.

We had a wonderful time visiting the towns of Lecce and Gallipoli. Winter is probably not the best time to enjoy this region, but our guide, Vito still made it very interesting and informative. His knowledge of the area and its history was amazing. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone thinking of visiting the area.

I strongly recommend this tour to those that love wine and good food. Our guide Stefano took us to two very interesting wineries in Leveranto and Manduria. At Leveranto we visited the Conti Zecca winery that produces excellent red and white wines. Our hostess Giulia was very nice and attentive showing the winery facilities and explaining to us all the steps of wine production. We tasted three excellent wines including one with the negroamaro grape that is typical of this region. Afterwards, we went to Manduria and had a delicious lunch at the Messapica trattoria where the kind owner named Angelo prepared a meal with many different typical dishes of this region. Finally, we visited a winery in Manduria that is formed by the association of farmers (cooperativa). It has a very interesting museum that was showed to us by the hostess Catia that told us the cooperative’s history as well as many details about the formerly way of life of the farmers. Then, we tasted three delicious wines made with the emblematic primitivo grape that is typical of Manduria. We are very grateful to Stefano that allowed us to have this wonderful experience in Puglia.

Anna Maria was a wonderful instructor. She does not speak English, and I speak very little Italian. She did have someone there who spoke English fluently. Still, her instruction was clear.

I had a blast fumbling through how to make orecchiette, the regional pasta of Puglia. It came with lessons of the area and history and doing it all inside of that structure that's been standing since the 1400s was epic.

Food was delicious and even more so, the company.

Thank you for a wonderful experience

Actually, I've did different tours in Lecce but this bike tour with Davide was really something special because he not only had an in-depth knowledge of his city's history, culture and architecture but he also took the time to tell some personal anecdotes, making this tour a really unique experience! Highly recommended!

We did the 2hr walking tour in English with Max. Max was knowledgeable, easy to understand and open to answering extra questions. We feel the tour to be a great introduction to Lecce and its history and amazing baroque churches and architecture.
