Pistoia is a lovely little town and this museum is well located in the centre. It is not large and only takes a short time to visit. A well -trained and informative guide is assigned to take you around. Tour times are on the door. If you're only in the town for a short time, you'll still have time for a tasty lunch. And a bro use around the shops.

Marino Marini is well known from the statue of the horseman at the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice. During a visit from the Pope many years ago the horseman's manhood had to be removed avoid embarrassment of the Pope.

The recently restored palace is used as a site for temporary exhibitions and cultural events. It is a fine example of the Florentine architecture, built in the 16th century, and sometimes called the Palazzo Buontalenti, due to the alleged involvement of the famous architect in its design.
