This is a short walk around a headland. It makes for an interesting and scenic way of getting to Le Lavandou. There are some tricky areas so wear suitable shoes.

It's a pretty spot but parking is often impossible and you have to park across the main road and walk a fair way back. Opportunities for refreshment are limited. Sometimes the sea is crystal clear but occasionally it can be full of bits of palm leaves and other plant matter.

Beautiful beach, lots of stairs to climb down to get there, but stunning views. The beach consists of 2 beaches and beautiful sea water. No bars and restaurants, so quite a relief and so relaxing.

Nice beach, quite long and at the end a great beach bar 'Welcome Beach'.
Beach is quite noisy from the roads, so not my favourite. Chairs and wooden parasols are provided and also in some months per year free yoga and exercise classes on that beach. Lovely.

All the small beaches on this coastline are lovely and parking here is easy. But I would prefer La Fossette.

Situated on the beach at La Fossette, this is an excellent bar and restaurant, serving very good seafood in particular.

Very nice brasserie offering anything between breakfast and late night cocktails. We had a very good and strong espresso, fast service, reasonable prices.

We had lunch with friends who live in Le Lavandou and they recommended Le Bayou. It did not disappoint : you have a fantastic view on the Iles de Hyeres and the sea - the service is correct but not pushy and prices are very reasonable for an establishment right at the seaside. We will definitely come back when in the area (actually, Le Lavandou is a great alternative to the posh and overrated St.Tropez).
