I visited the Fondazione di Sciascia. My father was born in Racalmuto in 1902, so I was anxious to understand the area from which the family came to NYC. This was a special visit for me. The literary genius of Sciascia is most impressive. It was fun to take a photo with his statue. A visit to the restored theater is in order. I hope that one day the train station will be restored to what we remembered from our fist visit in 1996. The hillside towns of Sicily hold many treasures. This was one of them
A great day with my friends in bicycle. We arrived in Racalmuto to have a coffee, but with pleasure, for the first time, we appreciated the statue of LEONARDO SCIASCIA, the great writer.
