- Margie MBasingstoke, UK8 contributionsTallinn Old Town is stunning. So many beautiful buildings to see. Lots of small cobbled streets and passageways. The parks surrounding Old Town are also worth an explore. Lovely coffee places and restaurants to enjoy.Written February 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anne GLondon, UK71 contributionsWe absolutely loved this museum. We got a taxi from our hotel & the museum staff were kind enough to organise a return taxi for us. The museum is housed in a purpose built hangar, which is worth the entrance price alone. We visited oi a cold December day & there were a few people there but it wasn't crowded,. This was beneficial as it meant we were able to explore the submarine exhibit without queuing. There is a great deal to see, coupled with a lovely coffee shop. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.Written January 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- IlovetravelBirmingham, UK372 contributionsLovely panoramic city views from atop the hill and with narrow cobbled streets it is very nice stroll. Alexander Nevsky cathedral is the main site up here. A must see when in Tallinn.Written December 30, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Brittany_11_10Los Angeles, CA1,712 contributionsBeautiful town square, historic, and well-preserved. A must-see if you're visiting Tallinn. The focal point is the Tallinn Town Hall, and shops and restaurants encompass the rest of the cobblestoned square. If not necessarily geographically/physically, it is certainly the figurative center of Old Town.Written September 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mont1eStratford-upon-Avon, UK344 contributionsThis is a great church, which looks much better from outside. Inside, it is smaller and less impressive than might be expected.Written December 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - goodguyjasLondon, UK1,202 contributionsWell maintained park with lots of flowers, shrubs, trees and grassy areas. It was fun to see robot lawn mowers working the green areas as I wandered around in this peaceful setting. Gardeners were also hard at work to keep the area looking so nice. Excellent paths for walks in every direction. Some attractive water features add to the look. Nice and peaceful but not that far from the town, or the coast road. Kids areas and museums are nearby. Plus you have the art museum with its beautiful house and manicured flower displays a short walk. From here I walked down to the coast road and walked back to town. Good work out.Written September 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Roam595393031321 contributionwe didn’t expect that the tickets would include a guided tour, but that was even better! plus you get to make your own paper, and then stamp a postcard. they also have a lovely tortoiseshell cat, so be careful if you have allergies, but give her a pat if you’re not! she might look grumpy, but she’s actually really sweet and wants nothing more than to sleep in your arms ❤️
they also sell handmade notebooks, secret book-boxes, shelf secret book-spines, postcards, seed paper, and even tote bags (at least for valentine’s they had some limited edition ones)Written February 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I highly recommend it, whether you're using the Tallinn card or opting for the student entry at 5€. The museum showcases a variety of older farms and homes from different centuries, offering a glimpse into Estonia's rich history. While it may not have the Scandinavian flair, it certainly has its own unique charm. One noticeable difference was the staff's demeanor; unlike the typical smiles found in Scandinavian open-air museums, the employees here seemed less outwardly cheerful. However, my visit was somewhat marred by the disappointing service at the museum's restaurant. The staff there were notably unfriendly, lacking basic courtesies like greeting customers. I was particularly impressed by some of the older staff members who, despite their age, were proficient in English, adding to the authenticity and educational value of the experience. However, some of the staff members were quite friendly. Overall, it was a great experience with fascinating houses and a lovely walk. Definitely an interesting place to visit.Written November 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Coryy20Port of Spain, Trinidad4,837 contributionsA visit to this church is a must if you want to see Tallinn and the Old Town with the clearest 360 view. The narrow stone stairs takes you to the tower which offers the best view in the city from what seems to be the tallest building in the city.
The cost to enter is 5 euros and you need to be prepared to climb the narrow winding stairs. So if your knees or legs are weak then forget it. It's a definite must do.Written September 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
