- kzrae2350 contributionsWhat a fun food hall!! There’s so much variety to choose from, and it has such a fun atmosphere! Definitely worth a stop in if you’re in the NoMa area of DC!Written February 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ktbeenthere2015New York City, NY259 contributionsChecking out the Eastern Market area was rewarding on a beautiful day. Not necessarily for first timers to DC, but definitely a neighborhood worth checking out after you have seen the main 5-star attractions. A nice neighborhood with ample photographic opportunities. After arriving, I noticed a 16 stop walking tour, called Tour of Duty: Barracks Row Heritage Trail, signposted and followed it. As a matter of fact , on the culturaltourismdc website, you can find a number of neighborhood walks to download. I’m going to use them to explore other neighborhoods on future visits. The market building is beautiful and we are fortunate it was saved. No souvenirs inside but several butchers, vegetable stands, seafood, and a bakery all sell their goods.Written March 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - cjdotheworldSmithfield, VA1,366 contributionsThere are a number of shops, some below street level. The guys dishing our the product are colorful characters. Fun visit.Written May 2, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Travel_Girl_ReviewsLondon, UK523 contributionsI wouldn’t make an effort to return here in a hurry.
There are a few nice stalls to visit but most of the market has cheap rip-off’s and clothes.
Better to walk in into Georgetown to be honestWritten June 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
