- Jerome S1 contributionI booked a service for my girlfriend and she had a great time. She got a massage and said it was the best massage she ever had in her life and she's been to spas everywhere. Thank you Laura & Lisa for all of your help. She will definitely be back.Written March 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Pam K1 contributionI had a stroke and could not walk. Because of the inability to walk my legs became very swollen. Also, my right hand was partially unable to be used. I saw Victoria Goldsten at the Washington Institute of Natural Medicine for lymphatic drainage massage, for my swelling and to do range of motion for my right hand. My swelling improved and was able use my right hand more effectively. Victoria's therapy was very helpful.
Previous to my stroke I had a problem with fibroids. My doctor told me I had to have a hysterectomy. I called Victoria and asked her if she could help. She said she could. She saw me for a natural health care exam and recommended homeopathic remedies. The remedies shrunk my fibroids and never had to have the hysterectomy.
Victoria is a nurse/massage therapist that is certified as a complementary and alternative medicine nurse and also has an advanced degree in homeopathy. I highly recommend Victoria at the Washington Institute.Written August 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. So we have visited quite a few massage businesses in the area. Unwind is by far our favorite. They have the best customer service and always give us an amazing experience. After a little miscommunication for our father's day couples massage, the owner, Tony, called and made sure to rectify the situation fast. My husband is a muscular guy and gets Sports Massages. Power at Georgetown is now his go-to guy. I️ love the CBD massages. Every massage therapist has been amazing and well trained. We will be using Unwind as long as we live in DC.Written July 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Matthew G1 contributionI booked a couples massage at the Argentta Spa at the Watergate hotel and it was a good experience overall. The staff were great. We had Sahel and Jazlyn for our masseuses and both were friendly, helpful, and professional. There are also a lot of amenities to enjoy, including a nice relaxation room, a locker room with showers, steam room, and sauna, and a pool and hot tub. However, the locker room could have used a bit more cleaning and you share the pool and hot tub with regular hotel guests so it is not the most relaxing spa experience if you happen to have families with kids there at the same time (as we did). Neither issue was a dealbreaker (I would certainly book this spa again) but it is something to consider, especially since treatments at Argentta are expensive.Written March 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelCDDCWashington DC, DC31 contributionsI have enjoyed my trips to this spa many times over the years, but this was my first time back since 2019. Massage quality still superb, and I love the ability to use the hot tub and pool. But the steam room no longer smells like eucalyptus and unfortunately smelled like dirty socks, and they have got to bring back a proper relaxation area. The current set up feels like a doctor’s office or a living room in a Four Seasons suite. Need lounge chairs or at least some way to put our feet up and heads back that inspires pre-treatment relaxation. Hopefully these easy improvements will bring this spa back to being the best in DC.Written July 9, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jw Sun2 contributionsI visit Unwind regularly for couple massages and they never disappoint. If their Adams Morgan location is totally booked, make sure to check out their Georgetown location. I also heard that they are opening up two new locations in old town Alexandria and Navy Yard. Look forward to it!Written November 21, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Sonia F1 contributionExcellent time at Deluce today. I get massages a few times a year in and outside of the US. I went with my husband and daughter and both said great things. Flexibility in scheduling, great hours, accommodating of last minute changes. Spa was clean and very pleasant. My therapist, Coco was excellent - very experienced and responsive. Highly recommend.Written October 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- JizelleBuenos Aires, Argentina1 contributionI've been coming to Bluebell spa for a few months now and each time I go my experience has been better than the last! The spa is like a hidden gem; amazing service and exceptional staff all in a very relaxing and safe environment. I always feel so welcomed when I go. I have had Ms. Yordanos and Ms. Marion for sport massage and they are both EXCELLENT. They made me feel safe and knew exactly the type of tlc my body needed. I will be going back for many more months to come!Written March 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LetsGoCapitalsWashington, DC77 contributionsI'm a local but this was my first time at the Spa at the Wharf. I went with girlfriends for my birthday, and we were all delighted. It's a beautiful location and relatively new, so everything is fresh and clean. It's also a small spa, which was what we wanted, so our little group of 6 could more or less "take over" and not feel like we were bothering others. We all deliberately clustered our appointments in a 2 hour window.
The relaxation lounge where you go before/after your services is beautiful, overlooking the river and wharf, with lots of afternoon sun.
We all liked our services. The only glitch with my massage was the music in the room was some kind of smart speaker that the technician had to pair to her phone and it was glitching and talking to us, until she figured out how to turn it off completely. So, the rest of my treatment was in silence, which is okay - I'm great with silence - but here the technology was a little too fancy to do the job.
Also, being a small spa, there were only 6 lockers in the ladies' locker room and when we first got there, all lockers were in use, so a couple of my friends used the mens locker room (offered by staff who shared there were no men with appointments anywhere near our window). They might consider adding a few more womens' lockers.
But overall, great little spa with beautiful space, big comfy robes, high quality services, and wonderfully hospitable.Written February 14, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Highly recommend him. If you are in need of a therapist that will release tension. Manipulate your muscles to function properly then this is the person need to see.Written January 26, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They're clean, modern, and have every amenity you could want (including mint-infused cold towels that feel amazing after a tough workout). I also really appreciate the wide variety of classes and class times. I can always fit a workout into my schedule because there's so much going on at this gym. Definitely recommend!Written October 14, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
