As far Algiers' history was intentionally distorted by the French colonisators, it is very difficult to believe whatever interpretation, especially the ones presenting Algiers as an ottoman succursal. I believe Bastion 23 was a restoration project destined to avoid whatever Casbah restoration project but it had no historical evidence and is not cited in Topographia e historia general de Argel (1612).

We toured the museum as part of a day trip with Fancyellow Travel Services. The museum has some great mosaics and other artifacts. It was quite impressive. Recommended.

this is a typical local market, with meat, produce, cooked meals, apparels, etc. i find it more interesting than Marche Bastille, at least for the streets i ply. i think here and Marche Bastille are prospective places to source dinars at Oran. focus on stores that sell expensive things - you will know which i am referring to once there

The Mall is well situated and does have its own parking. Not too big but once inside you love it immediately. You can find a supermarket, a lot of brands from where you can get very nice stuff and also good restaurants where you can enjoy tasty and nice meals.
Outside the mall there a small attraction kids will appreciate for sure if they get bored.

Beautiful Old Souk in south Lebanon. 50-60 minutes away from Lebanon's capital, Beirut city. Street food, souvenir shops, cheap flea market, historical places. A must visit

    Good for shopping with kids

The is a pretty new and spacious “mall’’ located in ancient emplacement of Souk Elfellah, totally renovated after a big fire in 2016 and reopened for public, this big store with different departments propose a various kinds of products, has also restaurants, play & rest area for kids.
The neighborhood is safe and a lot of families come with their kids to do shopping and have a fun time, a large parking is available too.
In Ramadan the mall is also open by night and usually closes at midnight.
Le Grand Top Shop is famous by it multiple promotions and sale events.
You can reach the place also by transportation, using the bus going to 13 Mai station from downtown.
