I do love a soda water dip, this was refreshing and cool on a hot April's day. Even though it was busy, most people were sitting in covered picnic family spaces you could hire. The locals in the water were hugging the edges and sitting on the shallow to deep pool divider. I was one of the only people actually in the middle enjoying what felt like solitude. It is commercial but reflective of the natural volcanic area it is in. My skin was so soft when I left.

I had so much fun, my friends and i are really excited to be there, and for only 200 pesos we can ride the zipline, such a great feeling that you fly like a bird and the view is so attractive and so nice. I want to go back there for the second time. It such a great experience to be there again soon.

Our family of 14 booked an exclusive island hopping with lunch and diving last Dec. 27. We had our reservation ahead and paid in advance. We contacted thru their website. I must say, the over all experience was the best and I would highly recommend this to big grps or family ( boat has max of 25 pax). Food was great, dive master was good. Kids just enjoyed the snorkeling and kayaking. You just have to inform them at least 1 day before your sched how many will dive in order for then to have time to prepare the tanks, equipments, etc. For our grp, we had 4 ( 2 adults and 2 teens) and all were first time divers. 25?mins per dive is not enough for them and it was worth it ( you just add 800 pesos per pax)

Pelaez Sports Center is the best place to do the morning jog. This is the place qhere most of the Kagayanons do their physical fitness. After doing the morning jog, you can do swimming in the Olympic size pool.

Visited here on a particularly humid day. The pool was cool and refreshing and clean. Not too many pools in Digos, so this was a great find and a welcoming treat in the hot weather

a huge sign greets you, but instead of a welcome sign its a warning sign. Telling you that ever since a poultry farm started operating, their place is now not "fly" free. Then it says they sell scented candles to shoo away the flies.

The pools are still clear, the spring water flows strongly. Though they use the chlorine pails as trash cans, there is no chlorine smell around, which means the water flow is very good. Aside from the flies, the place is congested. There are too many cottages stacked together like townhouses or row houses. You have people with their own bbq, providing bbq smoke all over, with several bringing their own karaoke. I could hear so many different kinds of music, if I can still call them music, on almost all sides! Pool congestion, cottage congestion, smoke congestion, music congestion, with free flies.

It was a blast of fun and very cold water visiting and enjoying the amenities of this resort!

This place is a bit out of the ways from civilization to access. Getting there is easy as long you have a private transport or rented van, if not get a ride from one of the tricycles waiting along Linamon-Zamboanga road. The place is a bit busy during the weekends as a lot of locals like to go to this place to relax and have fun. The area where the cold spring is sourced is a dammed up waterfall with three large and two small pools for the water to flow in. They also have open cottages for you to leave your things and food behind. The shower rooms are one of the cleanest I have used in a mid range resort (shower is a bit of an overstatement as they only have a faucet and drum to store the water in each room). They also have a karaoke area for those of you who want to sing your lungs out. ;)

The area and resort has so much potential and there are many swimming pools to take your pick from.

However, the place is ridden with litter and many (really many) wild dogs all over the place trying to get food from you or among the dumped litter.

No attempts are made to clear the area of dogs and no-one is asked to wash before jumping in the pool - saw quite a few people actually washing the mud from their sandals INTO the pool(s) before jumping in.

You may feel, as I did, it is worth the risk for one day there but then you are sweating neither you nor your kids swallow any water or get attacked by these sick looking dogs everywhere.

The Filipinos are a lovely people and this place could be so, so nice - but please, please start educating people that litter leads to disease and swimming pools are not for washing your shoes and like.

It really is not that difficult.

If you are from the West and not used to or can accept serious low standards of cleanliness then trust me, stay away from this place.
