One of the highlights of my trip to Davao City. Instead of taking a taxi or Grab, I decided to take a jeepney ride. Take a jeep to Calinan Transport Terminal and ride a van with label “CALINAN”. Travel time is approximately 1 hour. I asked the drover to drop me at Calinan Market and from there, I took a pedicab towards Philippine Eagle Center. My fare totaled to almost ₱300 instead of the ₱1,300++ if I took Grab.

Take time to observe the birds and be respectful of the surroundings (no noise is allowed, no littering, no scaring the animals, etc.). Try to leave some tip as well as this will go to the management of the center. Don’t forget to bring some insect repellant. Mosquitoes are everywhere!

The only thing that I didn’t like is the small enclosure of the majestic Philippine eagles. I wonder if they get depressed inside their very small and restrictive cages!

After my visit, I went out to the highway and hailed a pedicab and headed nearby Malagos Garden Resort (fare is ₱30).

From Malagos Resort, I went across the highway and took a pedicab towards Calinan. I asked the driver to drop me at “L300 or Taloda”. From there, just ride the van going to Roxas Night Market (just across Ateneo De Davao) for a sumptuous and cheap dinner.

Its already my Nth time to visit Enchanted River in Hinatuan. Since 2014, it is still enchanting.

Fish feeding every 12noon and 3pm daily brings out the best view where fishes from the deepest part of the water comes up and show its beautiful colors.

We visited Asia’s largest bone museum today, taking a taxi($3.50) 7km south of the SM SM Lanang Mall.
After paying $8 for 2 seniors, we were given a 30 minute guided tour by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide who studied Economics before Tourism. The 700 specimens all died of disease, old age or ingesting plastic/trash in the case with many of the marine specimens.
The goal of this museum is education about marine pollution.

One of the must visit in Siargao. A number of water activities and watching people trying to jump off the diving board is pure entertainment. It gets too crowded at times.

It's very accessible going to Tiklas from Gingoog City, .you don't have to spent thousands of your budgetary. You can reach the falls by a motorcycle with a top cover. ,modified for rainy or sunny. or by your own kind of transportation . roads are now undergoing construction. .but wont hinder your time spent in reaching Tiklas. Its breathtaking view of the falls takes your weariness from city life or from normal stresses. Its awesomely inspiring to God's creation.

I am writing to share my experience with Kagay White Water Rating during my recent white water rafting adventure. This was my first time with the company, but I have had previous experiences with another rafting company in the past. I was joined by my best friends, and we were part of a group of other joiners. I was a bit worried about potential communication barriers, but we turned out to be a great team.

Unfortunately, I was not able to participate in paddling due to the limited number of paddlers. However, I still enjoyed the entire experience, watching my friends and the guides expertly navigate the rapids. The safety briefing before the trip was comprehensive and reassuring, and I appreciated the team's emphasis on safety.

One suggestion I have is the addition of a shower area after the trip to freshen up. This would have been a nice touch after a physically demanding and sweaty activity like white water rafting.

Overall, I commend the team at Kagay White Water Rating for their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to safety. The guides, Kuya Jekoy and Kenneth, were particularly impressive, and their bold and confident leadership was instrumental in making the experience enjoyable and safe for all participants.

Thank you once again for providing such a memorable experience. I look forward to my next white water rafting adventure with Kagay White Water Rafting.
