We walked up to Villa Ciprone and paid the entrance fees to see the gardens and magnificant views over the Amalfi coastline.

Villa Cimbrone dates back to the 11th century when it was a fortified residence.

From the Terrace of Infinity one can see the azure waters of the Mediterranean below. The views are stunning.

The gardens were also beautiful and well maintained. Some of the sights include:
-Statue of Ceres which is located in a small temple
    -Crest of Mercury
    -Little Temple of Bacchus
    -Eve’s cave
-Statue of David), a copy of original is in the National Museum of Florenc
    -Rose Garden
-Tea Room a rectangular garden next to the rose garden

    Well worth a visit.

The views were amazing, we kept taking photos from every angle. I had goose bumps allover my body as soon as I stepped out the balcony....

One of my favourite beaches on Amalfi Coast. The beach itself has two free sections and a beach club where you can drink coffee and eat something.
The water is clean and the beach is beautiful. While you're in the water, just look around and enjoy yourself to the fullest. On the other hand the beach club is not so good because the stuff was so nervous and unkind.

Attended a wedding for a family member and stayed at Villa Piedimonte. That Villa was the best. Clean and modern with excellent service. Provided shuttle service to the town. Wedding was held at a spartan church, Chiesa a Santa Maria di Gradillo and walked through town to Villa Eva at the other end. Like something out of a movie. Towns people and locals watched us clapping. Very medieval with all the charms. Ate lots of mozzarella cheese and drank wine from the region. Ate several times at Ristorante Vittoria conveniently located at the middle of town where Maria, our server, made us feel like locals. Grazie Mille! Took a scooter down to Minori and Māori for cappuccino and nothing could be more breath taking than an early morning ride down the windy streets to the shoreline towns. Avoided Amalfi because of the crowds and totally satisfied at my stay in Ravello. Checked out the famous Villa Cimbrone and it was stunning. Just like advertised. Unfortunately, couldn’t fine dine there because I didn’t rent a room. The town square and the Duomo is the central attraction. Great to people watch and have breakfast or lunch, al fresco. If you don’t care to be with the crowds (Amalfi, Positano) and enjoy less bustle with easy access to those towns, this is the place.

Very nice town, great to walk around, helpful and friendly locals. We have walked from Amalfi, passing by Atrani. We loved the views and the cozy environment. Also, nice places to grab a bite and relax after the walk

Lovely view all the way down. The final parts can be a little dicey with the traffic but keep your wits about you and it’s all good. Take plenty of water. There are some spots of shade on the way but mainly exposed to the sun.

Found in Ravello, Ceramiche d'Arte capitalizes on the topography of the Amalfi Coast which provides all the elements required for producing perfect ceramics: mountain water, earth rich in clay, and volcanic content. I perused the inventory which consisted of: petite figurines, dining place settings, to bigger items like circular picnic tables to magnificent water fountains ...........and throw in some whimsical creations. I admired the craftmanship.

Beautiful ceilings and mosaics. Otherwise, a simple interior. You now have to enter through the museum and pay a fee.

    Colorful gardens, iconic views
The villa is interesting, but the gardens are stunning. In early July they were awash with color.

There are stunning views, including the location to take the iconic picture of Chiesa Dell’Annunziata.

We came across Inner Space while strolling around Ravello. We were captivated by the selection and quality of artwork. We fell in love with a painting and purchased it. Anna arranged for the artist in Naples to touch up a spot and then shipped it to us. She provided a UPS tracking number and it arrived more quickly than she promised. She was professional, organized, helpful and low key. No high pressure sales. Pure pleasure.

This is the church in the iconic photo of Revello, which can be taken from the gardens of Villa Rufolo. More impressive on the outside than the inside.

We happened upon the Chiesa di San Giovanni del Toro and spent quite some time there... Like many historical treasures in Italy, the church is in need of an injection of restoration funding, and perhaps some extra money to restore the organ! The pulpit is wonderful and there are signs of a kind of souterrain, or perhaps an earlier church below the present one. The church is light and peaceful.
