What travelers are saying
- Abel Bomoï SLondon, UK5 contributionsIt is apparent that the size of the market has decreased compared to its previous state, but it still offers a wide variety of fresh produce, fruits, vegetables, meats, and fish. The quality of the products is exceptional, reminiscent of the high standards we enjoyed before supermarkets took over the market.Written March 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - michael_brown513Stockport, UK3 contributionsAn excellent military museum. Exhibits were well presented and staff were friendly and helpful. If I have one minor criticism, the lighting seems rather dim making some of the printed information difficult to read. On the other hand, it could be that my eyesight is poor!Written October 25, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JOHN CLondon, UK1 contributionAnother brilliant play and wonderful performances from all the girls. Be my baby was a very emotional and heartfelt story that also had some good old fashioned humour thrown in for good measure. Lovely little theatre and friendly staff.Written January 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sean MManchester, UK3 contributionsGreat panto, great staff but the bar was seriously understaffed as usual.
The legroom in the seats is awful, very uncomfortable and no fun for anyone over 5ft 6.Written January 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was £4 for 2 adults and 1 child. As you can imagine there was a lot of steps, but they weren't steep. Really good views from the top. It was very busy so it was a bit of a squeeze passing on the stairs and then at the top.Written February 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LollipopsbabyMarina Romea, Italy382 contributionsAbsolutely stunning, lovely place within park to get a drink and food within park . I saw a heron which made my day. So many walk ways and easy parking . So nice to walk within a litter free area .Written July 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Leyland LPreston, UK218 contributionsFirst time visit with our four year old grandson, coupled with a ride on the ELR and meet the Gruffalo experience.
We all had a great time and he loved being able to go on the buses, especially upstairs.
All the volunteers were friendly and helpful.
There were a good selection of vehicles of all types with something for everyone.
My only criticism is that there was nowhere to get a drink or snack (even a vending machine would have been welcome). However just across the road is Bolton Street Station part of the ELR where refreshments can be obtained.Written November 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A play in two parts - best I have seen in 15 years of attending Summerseat Players. I can’t recommend enough. Don’t miss it!Written September 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kim F5 contributionsWe are regular visitors to radcliffe markets food hall now. It was first recommended by a friend. We love the relaxed and casual atmosphere and choice of amazing food. Really well priced too. Always have great music playing too!Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Big_Jeff_LeoSt Helens, UK21,978 contributionsHoused in a magnificent building which opened in 1901; this is a free Council run museum. The highlight is the Wrigley Collection; an assemblage of more than two hundred oil paintings, watercolours, prints and ceramics, which includes works by J. M. W. Turner, John Constable, Edwin Landseer, and George Clausen. There is a feature on modern sculpture; not for everyone but if you are interested then you will probably like this.Written November 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Geoff. Hewitt43 contributionsWent specifically for the Model Tramways day. Am a regular visitor and an enthusiast about Manchester trams, so am probably (definitely) biased. However, my wife also enjoyed the visit. However, please, PLEASE!, get 173 into operation. A special day with 765 & Stockport 5 all running would be fantastic.Written September 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
