We were walking towards Coliseum and came across this palace. To our luck it was open as they only open for the public on Saturday morning till 2pm. This is the biggest private palace in Rome and still belongs to Colonna family. The art collection housed in Galleria is simply magnificent with many very famous and priceless artists on display not only from Italy but also Flemish arts and many others. You can visit Gallery and other rooms without a guide however if you want to see princess Isabel private rooms- you need to go with the guide. English tour was at 12 so we did both Galeria and private rooms. The guide Elena was knowledgeable. Tour in total did last about 1 hour 45 mins. I'm so glad we went there as it's something off the beaten track and unique. Would highly recommend !

It is a four day festival held in a small town outside of Rome.
The main day is Sunday where they have a religious procession, parades, the blessing of the grapes and the main event everyone waits for is the fountain that pours wine.

However, beware it soon becomes a student university festival easily with a bunch of teens running around with cheap wine and being loud and drunk. If you can live with that you will enjoy it.

There are still lots of different age groups present however the predominate are the drunk young adults/teens .

TIP: If you sign up for the food tour that the website specifically says is at 9:30 (that we woke up early to be there on time for) it is NOT. They wait till AFTER the procession to open - so only at like 1:30-2pm. Therefore, we spent the whole morning waiting it out, however the good part of that was people weren't drunk and obnoxious yet so it was great to see everything at our own pace. Downside, we were so done and tired from being there all day we left way before seeing the fountain turning on with wine.

A masterpiece of architecture and stucco decoration from the 1700s in Italy and Europe.
It is the 1712 debut work of Giuseppe Sardi who until then was a foreman.
He has succeeded in realizing all the architectures and perspectives that you can see in my photos in a very small church with a single nave.
If the weather is nice, enjoy a walk in the restful public garden in front of the church in Piazza Garibaldi.
