The PeakSpot rests on six acres of pristinely manicured grounds on the edge of the Virunga Forest. The property is lush with local flora, attracting a wide array of local birds and other animals. On the property sit five stone bungalows built in the local style with locally sourced materials (two single bungalows, two double bungalows, and one family cottage). Each bungalow has an en-suite bathroom with flush toilet, hot and cold running water for showers, fresh linens and towels, and electrical outlets. The interiors feature brightly colored furnishings, textiles, and handicrafts in the local style, all of which are sourced locally and fairly from our village neighbors. Tent camping is available in the gardens with the option to either rent a tent or bring your own. Guests with tent accommodation have access to flush toilets and showers. All PeakSpot accommodations include a warm and nutritious breakfast, rich with local fruits and produce.

Beautiful secluded place in the middle of the national park. Amon was incredibly helpful before we arrived, providing really clear directions to the place (do not follow google maps!!). On arrival the staff were waiting for us & had already prepared dinner & a cosy fire & after dinner they gave us hot water bottles to keep us warm in bed. The room had a lovely traditional style & the bed was very comfortable. We woke up to birdsong at dawn & went to have breakfast, which was already waiting for us. Overall the service was incredible, the place is beautiful & peaceful, and we would love to come back again.

We were excited to go and they were very helpful at first in arranging our stay and animal permits. Unfortunately Rwanda imposed Covid restrictions that banned entry via Uganda, so we were not allowed to go. We asked for a refund and they agreed to a partial refund and asked for our bank account information, which I sent. We've now been waiting for a refund for over four months and they've stopped responding to our emails. We've lost $800 and I'm nervous about having sent the bank account details.

Lovely place, very calm and cozy. It felt like home away from home. Their customer service was exceptional, everything we needed during our stay was taken care of. The best part of it all was the hot water heating pad delivered to your room in the evening which surely keeps you warm throughout the night. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Musanze/Kinigi area.

The fluidity of their service from the first to the last day was unbelievable. My friends and I were there for a weekend to celebrate and the whole system the owner established was flawless from culinary to accomodation. The owner made sure all requests were met and his team was amazing. Alexis made sure Peakspot will be my home if I ever visit the North again. What a grand exit they reserved for us. Kudos!

I found this place by just looking to be near the volcanoes with a view. Excellent site, staff, views out of this world....visit the garden for best view. Great food, lovely staff. Even places to camp. You must visit. You do need 4x4, high clearance or catch a moto from town.
