Wunderschön angelegtes Resort. Die Zimmer haben für westliche Standard gewiss einige wenige Mängel, das liest man ja auch in den anderen Bewertungen, aber mich hat das überhaupt nicht gestört. Finde es eher charmant, dass nicht alles einwandfrei ist und mein Zimmer an sich war sehr sauber und gut. Ich habe es geliebt, dort zu sein, hat sich wie in einem Traum angefühlt! Das Personal war sehr laid-back, was mir gut gefallen hat und wir hatten teilweise auch kurze Gespräche usw, also war ganz lustig. Zusammengefasst: Es ist ein schönes, gechilltes Resort, gleichzeitig professionell und trotzdem merkt man, dass man in Äthiopien ist. Einfach etwas realitätsnah würde ich es nennen. Würd jederzeit wieder hingehen!

Ducha sin agua durante los dos dias, sin azulejos y sucia. Mariposas nocturnas y muchos insectos en la habitación. W.C. atascado y mal oliente. Lavabo sucio y con muy poca agua. Recepción no te facilita nada y te dirige a un guía malo, Haaaabtamu Girma Gumbura, alias Rico que te tima y te lleva a sitios terribles.

I gave an average because I had a chance to swap the room; otherwise it would be rated poor It was booked through the travel agent. I was shocked when I saw my first room. There were dead insect bodies on bed, some lights were taken out , no mosquito net was provided, and the shower water was barely coming down. Luckily I had a chance to swap the room. The 2nd room was roomy, slight cleaner (still found a huge moth? Butterfly? In the bathroom which indicated that they probably hadn’t cleaned it up for a while) and with better amenities. However, there wasn’t hot water and I had a take a cold shower. This place certainly isn’t maintained and certainly not close to any resort where I have stayed.

I stayed here for a few days in 2019. Having read all these terrible reviews, I think I must have stayed somewhere else! This hotel may not be the Sheraton but it doesn't claim to be and, thank the Lord, it is not. It is modest but has all the things you really need. The plumbing worked, the room locked, the beds were clean, it is close to the town, the beer is cold, the food was perfectly eatable and...whatever else is said here...the staff were helpful and friendly. Maybe the other reviewers thought southern Ethiopia was a Disneyland Resort?

If you can avoid staying at this hotel, you won’t miss anything! This is definitely not a resort, even by Ethiopian standards. Very poor restaurant service at both dinner and breakfast. Room was okay, but tired. No screens on the windows, so once they were closed in the evening for bugs, it became uncomfortably warm.
