We stayed here one night on our way back home after a summer break. The staff are so friendly and kind. They can’t do enough for you. The room was exceptionally comfortable with a firm mattress and fluffy duvet. The shower gel is a ginger fragrance and the shower itself has a clever sloping floor. (It is designed like that so I don’t know why another reviewer complained about it.) Excellent choice at breakfast. Shame we were there just the one night!

I stayed in both Rilano 24/7(left) and the Rilano Hotel Munchen(right) as they are in the same blog, share the same reception and restaurant. The 24/7 one, as the name suggests, is cheap, low quality. Don’t even think about it. The one on the lower blog on the right of the building is not great either. TV seems small. The worst thing is the shower door in the bathroom. It looks like they run out of budget to build the shower area. The door cannot block the water so after shower there is water everywhere and the shoes are going to get wet. I’ve never been to a hotel like this. Cannot imagine this is in Germany. I’ve stayed in numerous hotels in Munich they are all great. Breakfast selection here is way too little. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere.

After being at the Octoberfest I went to the Rilano Hotel, nice staff, many Gummibärchen to snack at the reception. Nice and comfortable room with a minibar, 1€ per beverage, which is really cheap...when I wanted to pay for 4 soft drinks the next morning...they did not want apny money...still wondering why...but very nice. Never heard of Rilano Hotels before, but I will keep it in my mind.

We came for 1 night, we ordered a suite, when we did check in, we got the key, enter to the room. and it was regular room. I came back to the reception and they told me "we are overbooked and we are very sorry we dont have suite for you" we can give you the diffrence money from regular room to suite. we asked on email to get a baby bed and got confirmation from hotel, we got the baby bed only 6 hours after check in, the reception guy told me "sorry we forgot it" 0/10 Didnt except this kind of service from german hotel.

The service at the front desk was really helpful, friendly and accommodating. Amazing how sovereign they dealt with our complaints and in fact the only positive thing about this hotel. This is why it‘s a two stars instead of just one star rating. The first junior suite we had gleamed with mold in the bathroom, a broken shower hose, hair from previous visitors, dirty sheets, holes in towels, broken TVs, and worn furniture. After changing to another junior suite (made possible by the really nice lady at the front desk) only the mold in the bathroom and hair of the previous visitors remained. For this a very unpleasant spot (probably wax or red wine) was added to the floor. Generally, the hotel is already a bit old and needs a makeover.

Overall - very impressed as a business/budget hotel - evening food and beer was very good - but disappointed could not get one English TV channel, and breakfast too late; 6:30 start is the norm - I had to go hungry and eat on the motorway. But I'd stay again for convenience.

Tiny, airless rooms with no facilities such as safe, tea and coffee making facilities, abysmal air conditioning limited to 22 degrees as a minimum to save the hotel money at your discomfort, arrogant check-in staff, awful location with a km walk to the nearest metro station and generally full of sports teams etc so you can spot the market it aims for i.e, bulk. Breakfast is ok, the domestic staff are very good, but unless you have business in the immediate vis city then avoid and go for a hotel closer to the city. This hotel claims to be 4 star but in reality is little more than an Ibis with a big lobby (& I love Ibis hotels, they are honest about what they provide), whereas the Rilano imagines it is high end but totally fails to live up to this aspiration.

During a Business trip to Munich I always stay there. It is a fine hotel, good breakfast and some nice bars and Restaurants close to the hotel. Also Tram 23 is very close which takes you directly to Münchner Freiheit.

Three pints , because the location is not so great in general, we liked Mini Bar, every drink is one Euro and friendly staff. Funny shower makes the whole bathroom wet. The room was pretty hot, excellent bed !

We stayed here for a weekend over Octoberfest. This in itself will tell you that any hotel in and around Munich will charge a surplus that will not necessarily be met with better service or facilities. This point aside though - the hotel was pretty average. The room was reasonably sized, clean and the bed was ok. The pillows were far too soft and the hair dryer a left over from the 20th century. Minus points for us: Despite asking on check in if they did room service, we did not get a menu and there is none on the rooms. So we had to go down again to fetch one. Just to find out that the phone line is busy for lenghty time and in the end we did go and eat in the bar even when tired from traveling. Considering the quite international location, the tv only had 1 English channel (news). The room safe had no instructions and even when contacting reception (walking down again!) was not been able to use. Strangely we were asked to pay on check in for the stay and breakfast, which seems odd these days. Breakfast was quite basic and hectic. One of the coffee machines permanently needed attention and created queues and eggs were rather runny. There is hardly anything around in the area unless you are there for business, but the public transport links are good.
