The private owned hotel is situated in a vintage building from 1870, totally refurbished in 2007.We have 3 floors with rooms and an apartment for up to 7 people under the roof.In the basement you can find a little sauna. Although we have an elevator our house is rather not suitable for disabled persons, the rooms are more tiny and there are some stairs in the entrance. We offer breakfast buffet until 10:00 AM and free WiFi in all rooms. Of course you will get a free map and also we can recommend some free tours.Designed for both business and leisure travel, Hotel Britzer Tor is ideally situated in Neukölln; one of the city's most popular locales.Offering hotel guests superior services and a broad range of amenities, Hotel Britzer Tor is committed to ensuring that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Family room, elevator, smoking area, pets allowed, restaurant are just a few of the facilities that set Hotel Britzer Tor apart from other hotels in the city. The hotel lies 7 km from the city center and provides accessibility to important town facilities. With its convenient location, the hotel offers easy access to the city's must-see destinations.

Quite ok, clean, reasonable price (50€, July 18), very friendly... breakfast ok with improvement potential ;) Safe location, Hotel doesn’t have own parking place but you can park your car on street (free) around the Hotel.

I stayed here for three nights with my mother. The price was very reasonable and my concern was that it was too good to be true. It's a budget hotel but it is in no way uncomfortable or lacking in any way. The room was clean and warm (we stayed in winter in freezing temperatures), and the breakfast was good. The reception isn't staffed 24 hours a day but when they are there they are really helpful and friendly. It is a 7/8 minute walk from the Neukölln U Bahn station. Nice place, no price, zero complaints.

Stayed on a saturday night. The room was small, simple but clean. My room was very close to the breakfast saloon and it was very easy to hear everything. Location was around 5 minutes walking distance to the Neukölln tram station. I would recommend the room for only sleeping purposes if the rate is reasonable.

Clean and pleasant hotel. We paid for room only and suited 3 of us sharing. Easy to find and within walking distance for good public transport network. Area felt very relaxed and friendly and lots of neighbourhood shops and cafes to eat - even a ALDI and neighbourhood shopping centrre nearby. Situated on a busy road but rooms quiet if windows closed

I spent two nights here on a business trip. The area is not much to talk about - I picked the hotel because it was in a walking distance from the business partner. The U-Bahn is however close so the connections are no problem. The reception is not staffed 24h a day, but it was no problem to arrange for a late arrival. The hotel is rather simple, but the rooms are comfortable and at least mine was oriented away from the main streen and quiet. The free wi-fi worked well. The staff was friendly and I find the breakfast above average - really tasty stuff.

From the moment we arrived we felt very comfortable and relaxed. We checked in early which wasn't a problem as our room was ready. Very clean and tidy. Its a great place to stay for visiting berlin. Only 20 mins from the centre via the great transport system. . The staff were very helpful with info on eateries, pubs in the area. we stayed 11 nights and never had any reason to complain . The housekeeping staff were brilliant. Overall we would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you.

I booked this room for one night as I was on business in Berlin. It's slightly out of the main centre, and most of the rooms are quiet. They are clean, and the bed was comfortable. As I am somewhat "wider" than most I had asked for a room with either a large bath tub or a large shower. i got the large shower, which was excellent. The staff was friendly and humorous. On the down side, however : the rooms are very light, and there is now way to darken them, which is a problem for those who can't sleep with too much light, or suffer from migraines. The Wifi-in my room was rather weak. The breakfast was adequate, but if a hotel offers scrambled eggs for breakfast, one tends to expect either bacon or sausages. They were conspicuous by their absence, and there's was no one around to ask. 92€ is, to my taste, a bit steep for such a venue. I'd expect this type of hotel to cost between 60€ and 70€, but is money's not a point, then you might enjoy this place. It's within walking distance of the subway, and right on the corner of the hotel you can even rent a SMART-car to take you through Berlin.

The hotel was reasonably priced, clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The wifi didn't work most of the time and the hotel wasn't located in a very attractive area; in fact it felt rather like an industrial park. Luckily the hotel is close to the U-bahn and S-bahn, underground and above ground trains. I would stay there again though, despite the shortcomings.

Great hotel. Feels like a private apartment. Good standard, up to date / renovated. Did only have one baby bed and it was in use by other guests, so ask good time in advance. Stayed in room with capacity for four, great with separate room for children/baby. Very helpful receptionist. Near turkish shops, great for food and sweets. Also near s and u bahn, toys r us and many other shops.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. I felt like I was entering an attractive apartment building as you could go straight to your room without passing through a reception area. The stairway was very smart and looked like white marble. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Good shower. Good transport links. Fantastic breakfast. Very private. Like Mikael W, I was visiting my son, who has a flat nearby. Lots of good, and not expensive, places to eat and drink, but ask a local, or someone from the hotel where to go. Will definitely return, and am all ready looking forward to it!
