I had booked a room for a week in another location when we were planning on renting a car. We ended up not renting a car and we were in an area that was not convenient for tourists. And then I found this GEM!!!! Fabio and his family run this hotel. He rented us a balcony room. We were right above the little coffee cafe that we went for breakfast each morning. Just a few more steps and we were in the city square located at the beautiful Sanctuary. We were surrounding by shopping and restaurants. Our room was clean, comfortable and very safe. Fabio was always a phone call away with any question we had. Walking distance to four of the ruins' entrances. Being there for five days let us really begin to feel part of the neighborhood. Using the train, we visited Sorrento. Everyone we met was friendly and kind just like Fabio, the owner of Hotel Piccolo Sogno. Dream trip!!

This well situated hotel is just 5-10 mins walk away from the back entrance of the the ruins and round the corner from the best restaurant in Pompeii (Pizza&Pasta Ristorante &Pizzeria). It less than 5 mins walk from the square where you can go up the tower for some amazing views. It is very clean and the owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. They really made our stay special. Fabio knows the trips to go on and the best way to visit places at better prices very informative. The rooms we had were perfect the bed really conftable and great air con which was needed with temperatures hitting 40C. Our room on the 6th floor had the best views. We will be back!

very well located in the central part of Pompei and nearby to the historical area with the Scavi di Pompei. however I was expecting something more since the hotel is located inside an old and not in god condition building. Fabio, the owner was anyway very kind and help us a lot with local tips to visit the area as cleverly as possible

We stayed in Piccolo Sogno hotel for one night during our trip across Campania coast. It was very nice. The room was big with a nice view, breakfast was delicious and we have an opportunity to taste typical italian coffee. I would recommend this hotel for sure and if i will come back to Pompei it will be my choice to stay! The Chief Fabio is a great guy, he helped us to create a plan of visiting the ruins and the city. He was also very kind and sympatic!

We stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel is situated on the 2nd floor of the building. Our room was at the front and, therefore with a balcony and was well-appointed, includes air-con. Nice comfortable bed. Fabrizio and Alonzo were extremely helpful and friendly and both speak good English. Although it's fairly noisy outside, it was great fun. The hotel is very well-situated, close to the main piazza. If you're looking for inexpensive accommodation this is it.

We had a great stay at this family run hotel. The staff were really helpful and made it so we were able to fit so much in. It is close to old Pompeii. The breakfast is simple but nice. I will be back 😀

Hotel website directions good, found it without going round the houses. Staff were friendly and polite. One downside was the bukbeds in our room (101) which were fold up beds which left an 8 inch gap betwen the wall and the bed. Not particularly child friendly, however our kids were ok. AC in the room was very good, and needed with temps in the high 30s. Breakfast a little disappointing and once again not particularly child friendly, but for the price we didn't feel the need to complain.

We stayed here for 4 nights in a family room with queen and double bunks . This place is on 2nd floor of building - lift there . You wouldn't know it was there only for a sign . Laundry underneath in shops also reasonable price too ! Lovely front desk happy to help with anything . You can walk to cafes restaurants nearby . The main square is at top of road .- About 150 metres Car parking in street with hotel sign . Leave keys at desk and they move when required . Clean tidy helpful - we loved our stay there ! Great price too !

We stayed 4 nights. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast. Rooms clean. Bed a little firm. Pompeii is a very convenient city for seeing the sights. Only 30 minutes by train back to Naples. Lovely square with Church dominating one side. Helpful tourist office off of the square. Several train stops are possible. The Trentinalia stop for Pompeii is a short walk from the hotel. The Sanctuary stop on the Circumvesuviana line requires a change of trains coming from Naples and the train does not run past 8 pm. It is a healthy walk of 30 minutes from the Pompii Scavi stop, but it is level walking vs the hills of Sorrento. If you have the Artecarte it is valid on the Circumvesuviana Line as well as Trentinalia line which is the one more convenient for this hotel.

We were shocked to find this hotel hidden at the second floor of an appartment building but once getting inside this small family owned hotel you feel welcome and worm. The owner of the hotel was very helpful and kind. Helped parking the car at the reserved spot near the hotel and let us keep it there after check out while visiting the ruins by foot as it was close by. The location is the best in Pompeii near the centre and 15 min,. by foot to the ruins. the room was clean and had all needed however a bit small. had a nice balcony watching the street. the breakfast was very nice and Danielle , which was in charge made us great capuccino and made sure we are well fed for the day. we liked!
