Pleasant welcome by English speaking receptionist who had a good recommendation for dinner. On a busy road 500m from Porte Camollia, so get a room back from the road. They have their own car park (10€) but street parking nearby. Room pleasant with good wifi, aircon, TV, mini fridge. Great breakfast. Recommended

Thank you so much, martyngs, for leaving us such a nice review and for saying so many nice words about us. We're thrilled to read that you especially appreciated the location, the different parking possibilities, the comfortable rooms and the super breakfast. Most of the rooms facing the main street have soundproof windows and usually the traffic's not a problem since it normally stops around 9-10 pm. Our wonderful multilingual staff has always good suggestions on where to go to enjoy genuin tuscan food. We really hope you'll be able to come back soon! Best regards, Hotel Italia Staff

This is the nicest hotel we had stayed during this 17-day trip of the 8 hotels we booked from south to central to north Italy. Came with a huge buffet breakfast. The cherry pie was very delicious. Had a full plate of crispy thin sliced bacon. That breakfast at 7am lasted me till dinner time at 6pm! Very good room prices too. Close to Siena train station via a series of escalators in the mall nearby.

Yet again we had a lovely stay at Hotel Italia. This was our third visit and it was every bit as good as the last two. Some of the staff were the same and they remembered us which was nice . As said before, Italia is in a perfect position, near the station and easy walking distance from the centre. We enjoyed our stay very much and what makes it is the staff are wonderful. They are all very warm and welcoming. They are so helpful and friendly which makes a holiday special. The breakfast is still the best in Italy -from our experience. The staff are so friendly , helpful and efficient. The food is exceptional. There is everything you could want and more. It is all either home made or of great quality. If you are wanting a stay in Siena then this is the place to stay !

The people on reception spoke excellent English, and were incredibly friendly and professional. My room was very clean with a good bed. The location outside the walls is great for the train station (once you work out that you need to take 5 escalators and 2 travelators, it takes 5 minutes to get there), but a little far from the tourist sights if you want a mid afternoon break. The room had a fridge, kettle (with a few tea bags and coffee), and a safe. Breakfast was a good help-yourself buffet. I wasn't that impressed with the coffee. It's a good machine, so it could have been the beans or it was on its way out as it broke the following morning. Now all this is excellent. However, I have one negative point, and that is that the walls between the rooms are too thin. One evening, I could hear the TV from one side, the following a woman chatting and laughing on her phone. By 11pm, I had had enough and banged on the wall. It worked!

Dear Guest, we are pleased that you appreciated the commitment of the staff at the reception, which every day gives its all to help our guests. We are sorry that you did not call the reception when the guests of the adjacent rooms were too noisy, our staff would certainly intervene in solving the problem. The location of the Hotel Italia is strategic for those traveling by train. We are just five minutes from the beginning of the ZTL, unfortunately being the city of Siena a medieval town the most important points of interest are located in the heart of the historic center, and to be reached faster you should stay within the historic walls, ie in ZTL.

This hotel was ok for our stay in siena. The room was nice but in a separate building. We reserved parking but were told that the parking was full and would have to find parking on the street or park 700 meters away at there sister hotel. The breakfast was good but crowded.

Dear Guest, we are pleased to know that you have found the Hotel Italia suitable for your stay in Siena. Some rooms of the structure (especially the family rooms) are located in the annex, rooms that have nothing different from those located in the central building: often and willingly even quieter given the internal view! Unfortunately, as reported on our website and on third-party channels, our private parking is very small and accessible only upon advance booking and payment of a small fee. The streets around the hotel and our partner hotel, however, are a valid and free solution for the rest of our guests!

Booked very last minute when our plans changed and we had a fantastic stay. Don't be put off by the outside of the hotel which is quite plain, the minute youstep inside it is light and bright and you will get a warm friendly welcome. Our room was very spacious, had everything we needed and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The air con had been on as it was a warm day so the room was a comfortable temperature. Breakfast was excellent and all of the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. It is a short walk to the old town and about 20 mins to the main piazza. I had hoped for hotel parking as we had a car full of stuff but this was full as we booked so late, so if you're booking ahead reserve in advance. There was free parking in the streets around and we had no problems. Very close to the train station An excellent stay, very good value and would certainly stay again

Dear Guest, we are happy to read such a satisfied review, and even more to know that you would visit us again in the future! The strategic location of the Hotel Italia is an added value for anyone who needs a proximity to the train station, or for those who need to park the car and then move inside the historic center in the simplest way: with a pleasant walk! We are pleased that the room assigned to you was to your liking, as well as breakfast, but above all makes us happy to know that you appreciated the constant commitment of all the staff in making your stay as comfortable as possible.
