Staff at the hotel earn high praise for their friendly and helpful nature, providing excellent service and local insights. Its prime location is celebrated for easy access to the airport, cafes, shops, and the seaside. While the rooms are admired for their cleanliness, guests have called out their compact size and occasional maintenance needs. The hotel's amenities, including the lauded rooftop terrace and comfortable beds, are popular among visitors, though the breakfast selection receives mixed reviews. In terms of value, the hotel is generally considered to offer a good balance between cost and comfort.

Super location to explore Faro! Great breakfast; managed by a very conscientious young lady! Lovely, small hotel. Plenty of super cafes & restaurants close by! Pleasant, helpful staff! We had a super 5 day holiday ! Great time! Lots of reasonably priced meals and coffees and cakes! Great cheap public transport-buses and trains!

The hotel was very nice. The room was compact but perfectly adequate and the bed very comfortable. there was always hot water in the shower. The continental breakfast was good and started the day well. the information regarding the bar and the rooftop area should be clearer. The bar is small and never really opened in the 3 nights of our stay, This wasn't really a problem as we found 3 nice bars near the marina. Early in the season the roof top area wasn't really open. The hotel information of opening of both bar and roof area should be clearer.

The best thing about this hotel was the kindness of the staff. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and did all they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I had an issue with my room which had a loud humming noise which would have kept me awake. The manager, Ricardo, was very kind and understanding and moved me to another room where there was no humming. For people who don't sleep well, you would ideally ask for a room away from the lift and stairwell as this area could be noisy with slamming doors, people talking, lift going up and down, but away from the stairwell it was quiet. The room was cleaned daily by super kind and friendly people and the people serving breakfast were super helpful too. The breakfast was very nice - as described by others - cereal, bread, cheese, yoghurts, fruit, tea and coffee. It was also possible to book a massage as there is a woman who visits the hotel to offer this service in one of the rooms, which was divine. Just what we needed to help us wind down into the holiday. The location is within 10 minutes walk of all the main areas in the town - marina/ferry departure, cathedral, museums, bars, restaurants. You can get a ferry to Faro beach for 4 euros return and it goes every hour or so (more frequently as the season picks up). We also did a boat trip with Lands Eco Boat Tours, around the local nature reserve which is highly recommended. This isn't a luxury hotel but for the price it is worthy of 5 stars!

Start off with the good. Great location. Comfy beds and great shower. Maid service everyday. Now the not so good. There was a mix up with booking where 2 blokes were given a double bed. However this was eventually rectified more through luck than anything else. The lift was out of order - this has now been fixed. Toilet constantly flowing. No air con. Was told if you want this to be cooler open your windows. Breakfast is mediocre at best. However there is a great cafe direct opposite which is open til 7pm. Very few English TV news channels. There is a mini fridge in the room which is handy as well as a coffee maker. However we were only supplied with two coffee pods throughout the whole 4-day stay so bring your own tea and coffee.

We recently had a mini city break and stayed at this hotel. It is ok for a short term base. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nice touches such as free safe and a bottle of water on arrival in our room. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. It was a little strange having a glass wall between the en-suite and bedroom. However, we kept the blind down to separate these two rooms. The lift was broken but the staff did offer to carry luggage. Breakfast was ok. Selection of bread, pastries, cheese, fruit, meat, pancakes etc. location was good and everything in walking distance. It was a perfectly adequate, average hotel. Comfortable and polite staff.

Hotel is ok for a short stay. The one small lift was broken for the entirety of our stay so my partner had to carry our heavy case up 4 flights of stairs as we were on the second floor. The room was very small. There was only one mirror located in the bathroom so not great for getting ready. The bathroom was so small and the shower only had a handheld shower that worked. The rainwater head above wouldn’t work and then one night we literally had no hot water coming through. Can’t comment on breakfast as we were room only. It was ok for a 3 night stay but I wouldn’t want to stay any longer.

For a short 4 day break I found this hotel very good . Good location. Yes the rooms are compact but we only slept in it. Staff lovely I would recommend for a short stay . We didn’t have breakfast but it smelt lovely in a morning. The lift didn’t work but the hotel receptionist offered to carry our bags up which was a nice gesture but we declined as only on second floor . The glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom I found weird but I suppose it was to make The room Feel bigger x tip xx take Coffee as you only get two pods and Then you have to buy it.

There was a lot broken at the hotel, lift, coffee machine at breakfast, coffee machine in our room & it was all a little worn, although the staff were excellent & couldn't do enough for you. We had to upgrade our room when we got there as the 'superior deluxe double' was about 3m x 3m with a shower you could have trouble with if you were 70kg +.

My husband and myself spent five days during the Christmas break in Faro city at this centrally located Hotel. It didn’t disappoint. The staff were friendly, a clean, perfectly sized room with most things that you would need including a fridge, TV with an assortment of channels, hairdryer, safe and a powerful shower. The continental breakfast was perfect for us including English teabags and a choice of coffees. The city is very walkable and we quite easily filled our break with things to do. We used the bus regularly as very cheap and the train station was nearby and also cheap to visit some lovely little towns including Olhão . The city has a beautiful marina lined with many bars and restaurants. The cobbled streets add character and charm. Quite reasonable to eat and drink particularly if you go further into the city. Would recommend a boat trip to see the real Portugal and not forgetting the wonderful sunsets which are a real treat from the cathedral, on a boat or from one of the many bars which line the waters edge. Opposite the hotel is a wonderful cafe which again is very reasonably priced and was our go to place in the afternoon. And not forgetting the beach in Faro, definitely worth a trip on the bus and a great little shack there selling snacks and sangria…. Perfect!
