The Acrotel Athena Pallas draws numerous compliments for its pristine cleanliness and inviting atmosphere, with its well-kept rooms and grounds receiving particular praise. While there are mixed opinions on value, many guests relish the hotel's amenities, which include a private beach and efficient transport services, though a few cite spa and pool restrictions. The serene beachfront location is beloved, yet some find it a bit secluded. Generally, the service is lauded for being warm and helpful, even if a handful of staff members occasionally fall short. Guests enjoy the rooms, which are recognized for their spacious and stylish design, although noise and maintenance have been minor concerns for some.

We've just booked our third consecutive summer at this lovely hotel. It has a wonderful setting, incredibly friendly staff, lovely beach with warm crystal-clear blue water, fantastic kids club and the best breakfasts. Can't wait to return in August.

This resort surpassed all my expectations and I’m fussy! Staff all lovely, rooms big and cool and clean, pool stunning and huge choice of food. We chose full board, so lunch was at the Lemoni restaurant which was superb. Hotel runs a bus into nearest town if you want a day out. Beach narrow but pretty for an evening walk/swim. It was the most gorgeous and relaxing week and I enjoyed every minute.

This hotel is rated 5* I believe this is down to the hotels own rating and gets based on facilities and things rather than being awarded from an independent group. The hotel is about an hour and half from the airport we had a group transfer booked but knowing what we do now I’d maybe rent a car for a week, this hotel is basically in the middle of nowhere! On arrival we got checked in and given a cold drink which was lovely and they helped us to the room with our bags (we paid city tax but we’re expecting this but think that is standard across Greece) the room was spacious and clean with free toiletries, paper slippers, robes and beach towels. There was a sandwich in the room as it was about 11pm this was lovely with a free bottle of water. There was an expensive mini bar in the room which was also small so no room to keep your own drinks in or any snacks if you needed to, there was a kettle and a coffee machine which stated if you needed a refill this was 10euros so we didn’t use this. Really nice spacious balcony with chair and tables, air con in the room and was cleaned each day with fresh towels etc. one fault with the room was that the drains smelt bad this was mentioned to reception who just said well cleaners come everyday! We played tennis twice (20euros per hour) there was also badminton and crazy golf and ping pong all at extra changes but we didn’t do these, there is a program to do them with the animation team! Pool was slightly heated so the kids enjoyed this but pool area very dirty! The food was buffet style restaurant and we were half board the food was ok nothing special or out of the ordinary we managed to find something each night and they did a kids corner of chips pizza fish fingers etc you are not allowed to take drinks in with your evening meal and they drinks are very expensive so just factor that in I went to the gym once it was ok machines old and rusty but weights were ok There’s a game centre with air hockey, pool and bowling(5euros per 15 mins) Overall not luxury 5 star and lots of extra costs but amazing staff

Dear Chl0b0, Thank you for sharing your experience at Acrotel Athena Pallas. We regret to learn that your stay did not meet your expectations entirely. Regarding the additional cost for refills (coffee pots, tea bags, etc.), we would like to clarify that the initial daily refill is complimentary. However, if you require an extra refill on the same day, there is a charge of 10€. We appreciate your kind words about our staff. Our aim is to deliver the best service possible. The coach ride took nearly 2 hours with about 6 drop offs. On arriving at the hotel we were greeted with a drink. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. On our way to the room we went through very pretty gardens which had a lovely little chapel amongst other things. Our room had a lovely view with a comfy bed and pillows. Very clean with a kettle and coffee machine. We had a grand suite which had 2 bathrooms and one large balcony that ran the full length of the rooms. Unfortunately we could hear people's footsteps above our room which were very loud and our room had a very noisy fridge. Once we were out of the room it was a relaxing holiday with a nice but stony beach just across the road or through a tunnel. Lots of fish in the sea. We enjoyed a Greek cookery class and lots of lovely food. Just missed having gravy available though. We used the small games room and joined in the organised games during the day which were on 3 times a week for 45 minutes only. We only had the use of one pool which was explained to us by someone staying in the hotel. The staff never told us this. One other pool was available but we couldn't use the sunbeds in that one. The sister hotel was shut and our hotel advertised a cinema which we were told had been shut over 2 years ago. People DID save beds and their towels were not removed and the big negative for me was being constantly bombarded with flies round the pool area. There was just no let-up. Nice hotel but not somewhere i would return to.

Dear Angelan362, We sincerely appreciate the time you took to share your experience and thoughts about your stay with us. Our primary goal is to surpass our guests' expectations. We are genuinely delighted that you enjoyed your spacious room, encountered friendly staff, and reveled in the crystal-clear sea in front of our hotel. Regarding the cinema, please be informed that we removed it from our facilities the previous year, and it is no longer part of our offerings. We no longer advertise it, as it does not exist anymore. Concerning the organized games and activities, our dedicated animation team hosts various games and activities for a minimum of four hours per day. We deeply regret that you were not entirely satisfied with the services we provided. We hope you consider giving us another chance in the future to demonstrate our commitment to exceeding your expectations. Kind regards,

This is a lovely hotel, the room seems recently renovated, the buffet is fantastic, the pool is heated, the whole place is great. HOWEVER. the walls are like paper, you can literally hear next door breathing and when he decides to make a phone call at 4am, we heard every word! So, great hotel, shame about the walls and don't go here unless you can sleep through whatever your neighbour gets up to!

I don't usually make reviews but this time I have to! I visited the hot zone of the spa and was fantastic. The food was not so bad but I would like to have more options. The outside pool had the best temperature for this weather, I had a nice drink. I had so many massages in my life but this was one of my best, she has nice skills for the body treatments and the face too. Thank you Maria.

Beautiful five star spa hotel next to the sea surrounding by hills and olive trees. Very well managed grounds and fantastic service. Our family apartment was outstanding. We had an issue with our room and the customer service term upgraded us to a beautiful family apartment. Only criticism is I would have liked more entertainment. But we enjoyed the pools and cooking experience. Thanks

We have just spent 10 nights at The Acrotel Athena Pallas On arrival we were upgraded Our Suite was really lovely with our own sun beds and use of an exclusive pool. The restaurant food was really good and a wonderful array to suit all tastes freshly Cooked fish and meats and wonderful selection of salads The staff in the restaurant were very efficient The hotel itself is beautiful with a lovely seating area in the main reception and the surrounding grounds are typically Greek and so well maintained. The beach is very narrow but Perfect for a chilled out day and the swimming was amazing Snorkeling is a must and you need beach shoes as its a stoney beach. Because of the time of year entertainment was limited Having said that it was very good and both nights the artists were brilliant and very professional. We will definitely return If you want a chilled peaceful holiday then this is the place to go

Lovely hotel in a quiet location. Welcoming staff at reception and friendly helpful staff. We loved our 2 bedroom bungalow with great pool and personal sun loungers. The accommodation was clean, well equipped with a lovely bathroom, lounge and bedroom. Great outlook onto the pool with a relaxing patio. We had half board and buffet food for both meals. There was ample options and good service. There are optional restaurants but with extra price. The beach was down steep steps and would have been an issue with any physical disability. The beach was pebbly and glad we took our beach shoes. The sea was crystal clear and good for snorkelling. There was good service with the ordering app on the beach tables. We thoroughly enjoyed the time on the beach. The hotel was quite a distant from any towns and there was a cost for hotel transfers. We hired a car for a couple of days which was the best way to see the lovely peninsula and small towns. We would recommend this hotel.
