I stayed here as part of an Intrepid Travel group, but I had my own single room. The room was small, but it had everything I needed, comfortable bed, good storage areas, nice roomy bathroom. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was a good standard. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Novi Sad where all the cafes, restaurants and shops are located.

The building from outside too needs some care and maintenance. We , our family of 2 adults and 2 kids booked the apartment , a room on the 3rd floor which had 3 bedrooms but one tiny bathroom. ., the lift was till the second floor and we had to drag our suitcase up another flight of stairs to reach our room. Strange that there was a kettle in the room but no complimentary tea/coffee.,..the location is good but there were many other choices all around and they looked better value for money than this one . The staff though were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was basic but ok even for us vegetarians. Some other rooms did seem to be updated and our kids did like the loft bedroom to hang out in. But overall would recommend only if renovated.

A very nice small hotel in the heart of the historic centre. It felt like home. Beautifully decorated, clean and quiet. Excellent breakfast, with lots of options. We really enjoyed it. Helpful staff as well and very reasonable price. Everything was perfect.

Novi Sad, European Capital of Culture 2021 in the provins of Vojvodina, Serbia. Hotel Zenit is located in the very Center of the city. Nice area for city walk. Easy and friendly Check in and Out. Simple but good breakfast, served in a small lobby. 3 stars, so far- no problem! The room and the bed was not good. Very small bathroom. The price was cheap!

Great hotel located right in the main centre of town, convenient to all the shops and restaurants. Rooms were decent and the staff were all very friendly. There was no issue with being able to sit outside and order beers until the early hours of the morning. Breakfast wasn’t bad either. I would happily stay here again.

We were greeted by a very lovely lady. Made us a lovely coffee while waiting for our room. The room was ok. It was a bit strange having a kettle and cups but no coffee or tea provided. When we went to bed the noise from outside was so loud we had to shut the window but then we cooked and were eaten my mosquitos. The air con did not work. breakfast was ok but nothing special. If you want a quiet stay I would not recommend this hotel. Personally we would never stay again.

What a fantastic experience! This small hotel is a perfect base; home-from-home if you will. We stayed from the 28th July to the 11 August - peak summer-break season in Novi Sad - for a very affordable rate. Zenit is situated on a very quiet street, and no more than 50 meters from the main boulevard where all the attractions are. It is super close to shops, pubs and restaurants - yet sheltered from the noisy crowds. The rooms have A/C and are simple, but very clean. Breakfast is meze-style; fresh, tasty and light enough to get you ready for a day of exploring. The coffee is top notch, and there is an endless supply of ice-cold water (trust me - you'll need it!). The staff were available 24 hours a day, were super friendly, and have an impressive knowledge of the area. I'd highly recommend the stay, and the 3 star rating is definitely an understatement. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

First, the good news. The location of this hotel is very good. Super easy to get out and about and walk around Novi Sad. The bad news is the walls are paper thin! I could hear every word of conversations in the next room. I also had no window in my room really. Except a tiny thing up near the ceiling in the bathroom that I couldn’t see out of. I liked the lobby area in this hotel and the breakfast is ok. Although one of the young male staff members need to be reminded that when a guest says hello it’s polite to stop staring at your mobile phone and respond rather than ignore them. If I ever return to Novi Sad I would find somewhere else to stay.

Zenit is a rather small hotel with basic facilities, but all good enough for a short stay. I have stayed there two times and really felt at home. The staff is very friendly, personal and helpful. The location is great, in the city center but still little bit hidden behid main street.

What you think of this hotel and how you rate it really depends on the type of room you get - they have both dark, windowless broom cupboard style rooms, but also spacious light filled ones as well. Easy to see which one I got - and on a high floor, so I had to negotiate the slippery faux marble stairs or wait for the worlds slowest lift. Staff were pleasant enough l suppose, without being overly so. The pluses? Great central location, and the breakfast was pretty decent.
