Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
Travelodge Wadebridge has garnered positive remarks for its prime location close to shops and attractions, and its high standards of cleanliness. While the staff's friendliness and helpfulness are often acknowledged, some guests have encountered issues with service efficiency. Room quality varies; recent refurbishments have led to well-equipped spaces, yet some guests find the rooms basic and noisy. The hotel's value proposition is debated, as additional charges conflict with its otherwise good value. Amenities such as ample parking are appreciated, but some suggest improvements in Wi-Fi service.

Friendliness/professionalism  of staff :- 10/10 - Excellent Cleanliness; - 10/10 - Excellent Facilities:-.Room layout /furnishings/decoration:-- 10/10 - adequate & commensurate  with price paid being temperature controlled. Bathroom: - 9/10 - comfortable  & serviceable. No bath to climb into for shower. Shower  arrangement far better than Premier Inn. Some towels a little threadbare though; only one handtowel & none for bathroom floor when showering;  bath towels are of a most excellent size and most serviceable - could do with hangers to permit towels to dry after use & plastic glass for cleaning teeth, etc. Toilet paper of questionable size and quality but better than Premier Inn single sheets Room extras of tea and coffee;- 10/10 - good. Reception:- 10/10 has a comprehensively stocked vending machine taking card payments. It was manned at all times we passed through. Bed/mattress:-10/10 - of superb size and extremely comfortable. Double rooms are next to main road and noise & although thought of at first to be a potential problem but didn't materialise as one. Breakfast box:- 8/10 - £5.50 reasonably priced consisting of juice  pan au chocolate, flapjack + uht milk. But cardboard cornflakes could be improved if Kellogs used. (However in a few weeks time Barnacotts restaurant will open in retail park opposite main entrance who provide excellent full breakfasts and other choices including fantastic takeaway cornish pasties). On site there is the ^Pearl and Trawl" pub serving excellent meals from midday to 2200 hrs.(sadly no breakfast). (9/10) Ample free car parking. Bus stop outside. Wadebridge down bottom of hill. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable long weekend providing value for money and a good budget base for access to the North Cornish coast. We would definitely return here. 10/10. Excellent for Royal Cornwall Showground.

Expectations were met, in line with the usual standard for Travelodge. Extremely good value at £35 flexible booking. Particularly appreciated the 12 noon checkout. Clean and quiet despite being next to a main road, easy to find.

The Travelodge at Wadebridge Cornwall is very well situated, close to a couple of large supermarkets and petrol stations. The room was clean, comfortable and warm. We always stay there when we have a short stay in Cornwall, I guess that it speaks for itself!

The perfect pit stop, a warm welcome regardless of checking in close to midnight. Within an hour of our arrival, unfortunately we experienced the fire alarm being triggered by a disrespectful and irresponsible guest with numerous candles lit in her bathroom. Handled well by hotel Night Porter, shame all hotel guest were woken middle of the night.

The reception staff couldn’t have been more accommodating in meeting my request for a quiet room and were so friendly and welcoming when I arrived. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. I visit Wadebridge regularly to see family and will certainly use this Travelodge in the future.
