The hotel “Omorika”*** is located in one of the most beautiful parts of mountain Tara, and with its facilities it provides possibilities for rest, entertainment and recreational activities. It is a 3 star hotel and it is consisted of - 2 presidential suites, - 8 suites, - 156 comfortable rooms (wich of 18 rooms are completely renovated). Together with the hotel restaurant, at their disposal guests also have a banquet hall, a bar, a pastry shop, a terrace, ambulance, library and many other amenities that make guests’ stay more pleasurable. Trying to make the stay more comfortable and the range of services more diverse, the hotel also offers: a semi-olimpic indoor pool with sauna, a gym, a bowling hall, table tennis, billiards, children’s indoors play space, ambulance, library. Hotel Omorika with the depandance Javor and hotel Beli Bor on Tara, and hotel Breza in Vrnjacka Banja are in business as a part of M.F. “Tara” (V.U. "Tara").
I have stayed with my family in this hotel in the second half of August 2022. This was not the first time I was there, however, this was the first time I have got a room on the fourth floor, because everything else has been already booked. My principal remark is about pillows that were absolutely obsolete, including the spare ones. Also the linen was inadequate to beds - to short and too narrow. About the other things I cannot complain, the hotel is decent, the management slowly renovate it part by part. Food in the restaurant remains traditionally good and diverse in choice, they have to improve just in details, such as replenishment a tea pot with really hot water, as well as to offer more than 2 or 3 sorts of tea. Swimming pool remains very decent, with clear water heated just at swimming temperature, sometimes seemed to be too much chlorinated. However, the pool badly needs ventilation/air-conditioning system. All the other hotel facilities are just fine, as well as the hospitality and professionalism of the hotel staff in general. The hotel position on the top of the Tara Mountain gives wonderful opportunities for making interesting trips to the variety of viewpoints (both easy-accessible and harder ones); thus you can feel the real mountain woods of the highly protected natural reserve- National Park Tara. You can also take a trip to the lake of Zaovine, to the Perucac Lake, to the Sarganska Osmica (railway museum), etc.…

The average hotel with very unfriendly staff working there, the only exception are the people from the reception. The hotel is state-owned, so maybe that's the reason for the unfriendly staff. The water in the pool is as cold as the food served, only breakfast is above average. The pool is as old as the sauna, we didn't get any bathrobes or slippers. Dinner is even below average where nothing but water is served for drinks. The hotel has lagged behind in some former socialist times, needs renovation, the only nice thing I would single out is the location as well as the exterior of the hotel which is very interesting as well as the good view from the other side of the hotel overlooking the forest. My impression of this hotel is a very high price for such an average hotel, for the same money you can go to a much better hotel with better service and friendlier staff.…

We have stayed at the hotel from January 5th unitl 10th, 2021. This was the fourth time that we have stayed in Hotel Omorika with our kids and unlike previous stays we were a little bit disappointed this time. We had a superior double room, which is big enough, comfort and clean. The reason of our disappointment is buffet where some people do not wear masks during taking their food although that is mandatory. The restaurant staffs went to the kitchen and pretended that they do not see that. No one has warned that people to wear masks. Also the food was not as good as it was the time we went there before. Besides that, everything was fine. There is and indoor pool with relatively warm water but is deep about 2 m and small kids which do not know how to swim need swimming props. The surrounding of the Hotel is more than wonderful and we had a good time after all. We will surely come here again.…

We have been coming back to Tara mountain and Omorika for more than fifteen years. This is most beautiful Serbian mountain. Omorika, although still one of rare state owned hotel is the only place where you can find quality accommodation, good food, entertainment and recreation. It is quite old hotel but renovated in some part to excellent level with great people, very warm and welcoming. We feel like home here since the atmosphere is casual and relaxing. If you want to enjoy most beautiful nature, clean air and stil not so populated place in Serbia, do not miss Tara and Omorika.

In NP Tara it's all about wonderfull nature. Hotel Omorika is really older, but due to my experience very well maintained, very clean, very well situated with great stuff. Rooms are cosy, beds should be updated with new matresses. Environment is awesome, running ways as well as walkings are superb.I would recomend anyone to come and see!

The hotel is located in a forest, in an incredible natural environment, in the center of the national park where protected bears reside:), organized observation of bears in nature is possible, with a charge:(. Beautiful nature and environment with numerous excursion and secured forest paths with organized departures, many without charge. In the vicinity is the deepest canyon of Europe on the river Drina, with an exceptional observation post, as well as an narrow gauge railway that presents an unforgettable experience. Everything is really wonderful, but hotel food, food is incredible - local Serbian specialties, as if delivered directly from nature. All meals are based on self-service. Prices are really affordable. The hotel staff is extremely unobtrusive, but always serviceable, a true home atmosphere. All the recommendations ... and thanks for the wonderful vacation.…
