Visited twice during our stay at El Rompido, superb Taberna. Menu has both local and varied dishes with plenty of choice. Quality was excellent along with wine selection at very reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Certainly visit again make sure you book...a table before your visit, especial thanks to Sandra. Dave & JudyMore
Amazing food! Great mix of taste, really an experience! We especially loved the Tosta de caballa, the salmon poke and the croquetas. Never boring, it is the perfect place if you are looking for an ah-ah moment
On the basis of Trip Advisor and our taxi driver we (a party of four) came here for dinner. We had a brilliant waiter (Carlos) who guided us through the extensive menu of tapas and entrees. Each dish was exceptional (especially the tuna carpaccio) and...the wine which Carlos chose really hitting the spot. Our meal came to 70 euros which for four of us seemed really reasonable. Great fun, experience and above all cuisine. Will definitely return again.More
My boyfriend and I visited here after being recommended by some friends. We had the best meal here throughout the whole holiday- the mini burger and the seared tuna with the spinach is a must and would defiantly recommend. The waitress we had spoke very...good English and was wonderful- she went through the whole menu for us and was brilliant after we told her what we like to eat. We asked for her name but we can’t quite remember- Nara maybe but sorry if incorrect. Wonderful place and you need to book!More
Lovely place for a dinner, I would recommend to book a table as the restaurant gets very busy. The waitresses spoke good English. I would recommend the salads, local fishes & prawns and especially Bolsitas crujiente (little crispy pockets with soft cheese&prawns - only 1.90€...piece). The food is well priced, not expensive at all.More
We visited here on a busy Saturday evening, most tables had reserved signs on them, but we arrived at 8.30 pm without a reservation and were shown to a table. Staff were very friendly and took a lot of time to explain what they could...provide fro my daughter who is vegetarian. The food was the best we ate on the holiday and very reasonably priced. I would definitely return.More
My husband and I enjoyed the most delicious late lunch a few days ago at this delightful venue. We were greeted with a warm smile and this set the standard for service going forward. Staff were delightful and we were looked after by a fabulous...lady called Marta. Marta explained the Spanish menu to us in excellent English. We were salivating before even tasting!! The food was absolutely delicious and their house white wine was of the region and excellent. The vibe was warm, friendly and beautifully Spanish. Highly recommend a visit.More
Very good food and atmosphere all together!! We had a very good entrecôte and sea food appetizers... staff was very friendly and welcoming We had dinner on the closed terrace. Lovely! Authentic
The fact that a Saturday night in early November saw La Botanica absolutely full is testament to the quality of the fare. Excellent choice of fish, all beautifully cooked. Well worth a visit any time of the year
A new summer. Again at el rompido. Lá Botanica is The best restaurant. Great food. Great service. Don't miss it
Great food, great service and a great Spanish experience. Last visited in 2016 and this place still delivers excellence. Make sure you reserve ahead in person, they don’t answer their phones!
My wife and I had a lovely dinner here on Friday evening. Thankfully the restaurant keeps 4 tables available each evening on a walk in basis as the restaurant was fully booked all weekend so either reserve a table in advance or arrive at 20:30...(opening time) we opted to seat in the outdoor terrace which is suitably covered by vines. Our waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu on the blackboards which are all in Spanish. There is an English menu as well however all the good dishes are written on the boards. We had the tuna carpaccio, hake bites, Grilled Squid, Tomato Salad and cheesecake for dessert (postre) washed down with a crisp dry white wine. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and was full to the brim, you can why this is busy every night. There is also a fresh fish counter for you to go and look at and choose your fish I would highly recommend La Botanica for a lovely dining experienceMore
Had a fantastic leisurely meal with friends, great food and service. Excellent nd would recommend a visit.
So good we went twice, very friendly staff but it helps if you don't have good Spanish to look at the pictures of the menus in other posts and be prepared to know what you may like. This helped us a lot. The Solomillo de...Retina (Fillet beef steak) was just to die for.More
