A really really good tour. Pablo was really sound, informative and friendly. I took this tour but I also took the 'official' city tour, the day before, ( part of the hop on hop off/sightseeing Cadiz deal where the bus tour comes with 2 free walking tours, because the bus can't access the narrow cobble stoned streets ) These 'official' tours were fine but in comparison to Cadizfornia- a bit dull in content. Cadizfornia was much more interesting and gave little pieces of trivia that made Cadiz that bit more special. (For example, the scene in James Bond where Halle Berry walks out of the water; filmed in Cadiz!). Pablo's information flowed really easily and was more colloquial and gave more of a flavour of the place. His English is totally flawless and very easy to understand accent wise. It was relaxed and also robust. It covered a lot of ground. It gave great tips of places to eat in La Vina. It also included showing us and bringing us into the museum of the ancient Roman Theatre, and giving us information about inside it. This is bizarrely not included in the city sightseeing official Cadiz tour ( who only show you a tiny section of the theatre through a distant gate.) I had no idea that that museum even existed until I took cadizfornia's tour! Pablo joined myself and another tourist on the walk for some lunch and he's a great guy. A professional , smart, interesting , witty tour. Also it was a real treat (and unexpected given the nature of language diversity) that this tour was split in two. One group in Spanish by another guide, the other in English by Pablo. Obviously this meant my tour in English was seamless and I lost no time waiting for the Spanish version. This was different on the official tour where the guide spoke 'time about' in the 2 languages. So really to have a free tour offer such a tailored service is remarkable. For both language speakers. Thank you Cadizfornia!!
