We had signed up for a half day tour of Parma with Michelle as our guide. We had such an awesome experience . Michelle was not only very knowledgeable about the history of Parma, but her enthusiasm was palpable. She let us know she was born and raised there, studied extensively there and in other areas, and was so glad to be back in her home area. We learned so much about the founding of Parma, its illustrious citizens (Maria Luiga, Verdi, and Toscanini among the many), as well as touring many of the famous buildings and churches. We went beyond our allotted time and came away with an incredible appreciation of Parma. We can't wait to go back and do a 'tasting' tour! This was a 5 star experience!

Everything about our tour was wonderful. Michelle was very prompt at returning our emails when we were arranging our tour. On the day of our tour, she arrived at our hotel and off we went to see Parma. Michelle was extremely knowledgeable and made the history of the area come to life. She adjusted our tour based upon our interests. Michelle also took time to point out places to eat to try out the local products just like a friend would do when visiting their town. Before our tour ended, Michelle helped us get settled in a trattoria, suggested items from the menu as well as a local wine (all were perfect!). Michelle was thoughtful, engaging and genuinely easy to be with.
