We seek to share the story of Harlem with our guests and offer a space that celebrates local artists, musicians and culinary talents alike. We embrace today's Harlem with a spirit of inclusiveness and community by hiring our family of staff from within the community, inspiring better eating through neighborhood cooking classes, and buying from local purveyors.

We had the best birthsay dinner here! Although this was the most expensive mean we had in over a month of travel in America (~$200 for 4 people), the food was delicious and service was great. A real benchmark for high-end restaurants serving traditional food. One star is deducted for the noise level (hoise DJ) being uncomfortably high.

We went for the Sunday Brunch Buffet. For the high price you would expect decent food but the food was poor quality. The organisation was poor - you had to wait a long time. The lighting was bad so you couldn’t see what the food was.

The Gospel entertainment was fun but overall I don’t think the experience was worth the $71. Per person.

While on a business trip we made reservations for the team to enjoy this place. Couldn’t be more pleased. The food was impressive and had so much flavor. Would go again!

My girlfriends and I flew in from Chicago, we were in NY for 24 hours. We agreed that we wanted to eat at a fun, delicious yet causal place. We read the menu and agreed 100% that the Red Rooster is where we‘d go. One of us liked the drink menu, one of us liked the dessert menu, one of us wanted to visit in Harlem, one of us likes the music that fills the atmosphere and I am a fan of Marcus Samuelsson (the restaurant owner) from Chopped. And we all enjoy eclectic art. WE were each very satisfied. Mr. Samuelson covered all the basis well.
